I love this hat; it's stylish and comfortable; fit perfectly; great color and held fast on my head through the wind and while I took a boat ride. I'd say it's crush proof too since I put behind my back at a restaurant and it held it's shape perfectly. The price is terrific too; great quality.

haven't worn it yet. fits well. satisfies my vanity. I like it very much.

Really cute shape, soft enough to wear laying in my hammock and substantial enough to stay on through hiking and outdoor activities. The price can't be beat, I am going to buy 2 more.

Needed a hat for a garden club lunch, and was able to give it a flower decoration that then could be removed. Was just right for the occasion and is practical to wear anytime.

Really cute hat! I have a smaller head, so it is hard to find hats that don't fall over onto my ears. This one runs a bit smaller, and then I tighten it up and it fits well! I'd say it will fit mid-sized and smaller heads, but maybe not bigger? Super cute, with a pretty wide brim - I'm happy with it.

Attractive hat, safely keeps out the sun plus CAN get wet. When I was caught in a surprise rain shower, I assumed the hat was destroyed, but no problem! Now I use it for outdoor water aerobics with full confidence

I just LOVE the hat. I collect hats, and with the exception of a straw hat I wore in Paris (which has amazing memories attached to it), this is the star of my collection. It fits well, frames my face nicely, and it blocks the sun so I can wear it to work in my garden.

The hat fits well and has a wide enough brim to keep the sun out. I like the "tweed" color.

This is the hat I've been looking for. It's very flattering, and I haven't said that about a hat in many years.

I was skeptical of ordering hats on line because of course there is no trying them on. I was thrilled when I received this terrific, modern looking sun hat! The medium size seemed a little large when I tried it on but it does stay in place. I love it, first day I went to the hardware store and an older gentleman called across the parking lot that he liked my hat! Much nicer than any ball cap I had been wearing!

I LOOOOOOOVE this hat! So much that I'm buying a second one (as mine is quite dirty after years of frequent use). I get lots of compliments, I feel protected from the sun (and I work outdoors), and it somehow stays on my head even in strong winds. Once I thought I had lost it and I didn't remember who made it-- I was so sad! Then I found it (hurrah!) and I'm looking forward to my new one!

If you need protection from UV rats this is the best hat ! It's stylish, has UV protection built in and the fit is terrific ! So happy that I ordered it !

We were so glad to see that Bean started carrying these hats. We already knew about this great outdoor, environmentally responsible company as they started in Oregon over 25 years ago. My daughter had previously purchased this breathable, polyester/paper weave sun hat. In a year's time, and day after day of wearing it, it still looks beautiful. She's been caught in light rain with it more than once. She hangs it over a delicates rack to dry. While you can't wash the hat, it easily spot cleans. When she saw it on Bean, she ordered one for me using her Bean bucks. It is stylish, size adjustable via the braided headband tie, packs well, and offers substantial sun protection. I feel like I've been transported to Kauai, the Hawaiian island it is named after, when I put it on my head--it is that cool, breezy and lusciously tropical.

I was looking for a cute, stylish, "non-momish" hat that would transition from a simple barbeque to a nice dinner out with my husband...and I found it. I love the shape, the fabric, the color (tweed) and the wide brim just frames my face beautifully. I couldn't be happier. And now I am always finding an excuse to wear it. It is a great hat! It is very fashionable, and you can use it for Social events, weddings, or even for everyday usage! You can arrange the brim into different ways, which makes it very versatile! I always get compliments when I am wearing it!

I have always worn a hat while out doors and I've tried many in my 60 years and this is the best. I do a lot of motorcycle travel and this hat packs up nicely in a side bag and always looks good when I take it out. This hat has gone to Africa twice, New Zealand and across the country many times and keeps coming out of the bag looking great and offering the protection I've come to depend on from Sunday Afternoons.

I was recently diagnosed with a skin cancer and I was informed I should wear a hat everytime I go outside. Even just to the mailbox. I am not a hat lover but now I have no choice. My dermatologist gave me a brochure from Sunday Afternoons and I found this hat. It arrived at my house in just a few days and I tried it on and actually like it. I like the color, style and material and even though it has an adjustable band it is quite comfortable as is. It is attractive for everyday use. I am happy I found Sunday Afternoons and will definitely return for more purchases.
