Is much lighter in color than expected not at all Carmel color more of a wheat but nice otherwise.

It's a marvelous and well-made hat, though the fit is not adjustable - so make sure the size is the one you want! I got a medium, probably would have preferred a small...For reference, I have a S/M in the Aspen, another Sunday Afternoons hat, which is perfect for my head.

I really wanted to love this hat and wear it proudly, but it fits too small on my head. I'm typically on the low end of a Large for hats (sometimes I can get away with a Medium, but I own the Sunday Afternoons Rambler and Havana hats in Large). The Islander hat in size Large was a bit tight, enough to give me a headache after a few minutes. Unfortunately I have to return it.

Good quality. Fits as advertised. Overall I like it. If I could tweak it I wish the brim was a tiny bit smaller and the main body part was a tiny bit shorter.

The fit and size was good but it arrived broken. Apparently very fragile

I really wanted to love this hat, bought in a medium and it fit and looked great but the coloring was way off from the picture, I only had the option for caramel color so maybe there is another option that is lighter that I missed? It was a lot darker than I was expecting so sadly I returned it.

Large was weirdly fitting. My husband said it was meant for a women's head, so now it is mine. For the price, I would not buy again.

I love the hat, but I had to send my medium back, it was too big for me. I have not received my refund.
