I really like this hat and I’m pretty sure it’ll work for me. I feel like I have a large head (23 inches) so I was a little worried about it being a “medium”, but it feels comfortable. If my head was any bigger it wouldn’t work. There’s not much room between the top of my head and the inside of the hat, not sure if that will make a difference with keeping me cool, but I live that it is reversible and has the upf 50+. I got the green/gray one. Can’t wait to wear it!

I bought this in a last minute fit of "oh god, what have I done?" the night before I launched on a 29 day trip down the colorado river. The brim was stiff enough to keep the water from going down my neck when I ducked my head in rapids, and the hat survived the marathon trip none the worse for wear. It kept my glasses dry during the rain we got on that trip, too. Now it's my go-to hat for kayaking and the only time it has failed me was when I was paddling into 25 mile per hour winds. The brim pretty much gave up and stayed plastered to my forehead for that paddle but in milder conditions, it has fared well. Two years of that kind of abuse and it still looks pretty much the same as when I bought it. The brim is wide enough to shade my face and neck, though I do wish it was a little wider for angled sun. That said, I'm not sure it would be stiff enough without wire if it was wider, and I'd rather have it be crushable. It's a great hat. Looks decent, stays on, and has taken all the abuse I've thrown at it with no noticeable wear and tear.

Beautiful hat and very comfortable for my big head. You can adjust it if you have a smaller head. Shame I never got to wear it as I lost it before I got the chance (may have fallen off my backpack).

This hat is perfect. It's attractive, comfortable and protects me from the sun while I'm out in my kayak.

This is such a great hat. I do a lot of work outside, I am 67 years old and have very thin hair so this hat gives coverage and is cool on head when wearing. I also like that it is reversible.

I really love this hat. It fits well and reverses. I use it when gardening and it is perfect. Also great to wear when riding in the converible.

Exceeded expectations. Brim has some stiffness so it doesn't flop down in my visual field. Appreciate the chin strap in windy conditions. Best part is, it doesn't make me look like I'm wearing a man's hat.

Trip to Key West and Everglades tour. This hat was great! Lightweight,waterproof, and it kept the sun off of my face. Hand, as I get woozy in the afternoon heat. Highly recommended for outdoor weather!

Hat is comfortable; doesn't make my head feel hot; I like the print; I'd consider getting another of a different print if it were available. The wide brim shades my eyes.

I usually do not like wearing hats, but this hat I truly enjoy wearying. I purchased this hat because I needed a hat for a trip to an area that can be quite warm, and the sun can be intense. This hat is lightweight, and the brim is the perfect width. I do recommend that you tighten it around your chin if it is windy.

I love the hat. I got it for doing yard work. It's light weight so it's not hot and it has a tie so it stays on in the wind. It's perfect for me in the sun. I recently had skin cancer on my scalp and this hat covers all the bases.

The brim was wider than expected, and I did not find it flattering to my face.

I have to keep the sun off my face, ears and neck and this hat is perfect. We travel cross country on a convertible and the hat stays in place. Love the color.

Great for sun and rain protection. Looks good on, I got the green which is neutral enough to go with everything I wear. This is a great hat for hiking or doing whatever outside. And a great packer!! Just roll it up.
