This shoe has a footbed more like the Dankso clogs. I can wear them at work and be on my feet all day with no complaints.

I usually wear size 7- 7.5, but since this style of sandals are open toe and back, I ordered one size smaller (6), and it fit prefect. They feel light to wear, and med soft leather on top. I love wearing Dansko shoes or sandals, for the reason that after wearing them awhile, the bed of the shoe/sandal form to my shape which is so comfortable to have!

Love these shoes so comfortable. The Velcro closure allows for great adjustment. Would definitely buy again

Since having major ankle and foot reconstruction surgery last fall, I have only been able to wear specialized running shoes with orthodics, and still experience pain. I had a semi-formal occasion to attend so was trying to find something that I could spend a few hours in and be able to walk a bit. These shoes were really comfortable, and had a surprising amount of arch support. The straps even covered up some of my scars which was a plus. The only negative was that they gapped a little bit on both the inner and outer sides of the shoe. I was really pleased overall though.

Love these shoes! Extremely comfortable and are sturdy on, no ankle rolling like with some danskos.

To be totally transparent, I am a shoe-aholic of the first order. I do have a big handicap: the great toe on my right foot is fused—which means I can only wear non-flex soles. I received this pair smack in the middle of a garden wedding at my home. About 6 hours in, my feet were getting a little weary in my Dansko sandals (I’ve had them so long I don’t remember the style name), so I snuck out to the front patio and brought the Zappos box inside. I put them on immediately. The arch support is beyond outstanding; it was exactly what my feet were craving. I wore them for 6 more hours and I never thought about my feet the rest of the night. It gets better: all the 30 something women at the wedding LOVED them! I am now ordering the black ( I ordered teal, gorgeous). Best summer sandal in my collection.

As soon as I put them on I knew they were mine! Beautiful teal color, just the color I wanted. The ankle straps felt fine and I was concerned they might not. The height nd width of shoe is great. Not as cushioned as I expected, but I can probably deal with that fine. Down at least 30 pairs of different Dansko shoes. They are usually winners in my book!!

These shoes were a great fit! So comfortable from the first time I put them on! Great comfort for all day wearing! Love these shoes!

I have a real hard time finding sandals that look sharp, stylish and are comfortable. These sandals are it for me. Love the platform heel, and quality. Plan to get another pair.

These shoes are SO CUTE--very modern and snappy. I liked them so much I got them in two colors--great to wear with lantern pants or straight leg pants.

I love these. Some Dansko shoes run a little narrow for me, these are perfect for my feet! Great style, color and fit! Only thing I would change, is have an actual buckle, not Velcro.

They may be a quarter size too big. I’m tempted to keep them because they feel comfortable but I also feel like they are just enough too big that it will bother me. They would be fabulous for someone who needs just a 1/4 size larger than normal. I ordered an 8.5. They won’t work if you have narrow feet or ankles. Mine are normal and they were not at all snug. The 8 might fit me but I’m not sure. They are very nicely made and the footbed felt great with excellent arch support.

I LOVE these shoes. Unfortunately, both shoes "squeek" as I walk. Had to return, which is an easy and convenient process with Zappos.

My usual size is 39 but I needed to o exchange for a 38, which fit perfectly.

The shoe is cute--a bit wide and clunky, but in a "dansko" way. I was excited about the color, comfort, and style. I wore the shoes around the house for an hour as a text run. The ankle strap started to rub into my ankle bone...I imagine this is an issue for a small percentage of people. Unfortunately, going back.

Too large and the color is not a true black as pictured. More of a dark gray

The style of the shoe is nice, but it did not fit well. There were gaps on my foot near the straps on both sides of of the shoe. The gapping made this unattractive on my foot. The arch was a little uncomfortable, seemed a little high.

Seems like Dansko missed the mark on this one . . . I have been a loyal Dansko consumer for decades, relying on the arch support and footbed comfort. Unfortunately, this shoe, for me, totally lacks any cushioning along the entire footbed, feels stiff and hard like walking on concrete, and the overall shoe is floppy wide in the M width. The strap feels good, peep toe allows ample room for the toes, and a firm arch support, however, it feels like a lump rather than a gradual overall supportive section. I really wanted to love these, but they are going back.

I’m so disappointed! I’ve been eyeing this shoe for a while now and finally Zappos had a $40 off coupon. I ordered the smallest size offered but they were too wide and too long. I tightened the strap around the ankle but the toe just flopped around. Sadly, I have to send them back.

I like these shoes. I've never worn Dansko before, as they never felt quite right. I've been searching for black shoes with some height, that are comfortable, and I think I've found them with these. I haven't yet worn them for any length of time so I don't know how that will go. I usually wear Hoka, Vionic, Merrill brands. These are a bit long but a pretty good fit. Size 38. I usually wear 37-38.

Charming shoe. The height of the sole/heel area is a bit too high for me as I am old enough to be concerned about twisted ankles. For a younger ( than me) person its a darling shoe. Feminine without being too dainty. A classic.
