wide for my narrow foot

Bigger than expected. Too long to wear. Hope getting ones shorter doesn't make them too narrow.

Too wide but otherwise good.

Like others pointed out, the strap is not long enough to tighten the shoe around the ankle. I ordered another pair in a size down from what I normally wear and the shoe fits great although the strap is still not quite tight enough.

These felt ok, soles a little stiff. I have El Naturalistas that are similar and felt better out of the box, but I think these would break in ok. I am just returning them because I preferred another style I got!

I'm always on the lookout for a cute shoe with an arch. Love the look of these and they are comfortable!

This shoe is super cute, really comfortable and I debated keeping them. My main hang up against them is that I have to bend over and thread the strap through the little metal loop every time I put them on. As a Realtor in and out of houses a lot I really look for something to slip into easily without my tail in the air for very long. I have wide flat feet (I have a Birkenstock foot if you know what I mean) and these fit absolutely perfectly. I also look for good grip and something more dressy than a sandal so that I can wear a light sock if needed. If I could get out of these shoes without having to completely remove the strap from the gold loop it would be better because then its just a matter of bending over and "zipping" it closed if you can envision what I mean but the strap is short and gets completely removed from the loop every time so its a more fiddly situation to get it closed. A closure like the Rissa (which I also tried) would be better for me. :-) I ordered a 38 which is what I get in Birkenstocks and they fit great, these are just a wee bit more fitted than the birks are on my foot.

Great shoe, unfortunately, I need a size 40 and you guys are out.

I wear a 40 in Dansko and Josef Seibel but this shoe fit me best in a 39. Very cute shoe especially for those of us with big feet. But I was looking for a shoe for dancing and felt the narrow strap (which I had to pull all the way to the end of the velcro attachment) wouldn’t hold up.

I absolutely loved these shoes and the comfort they provide, but unfortunately the shoes were a little too big. I ordered a 42 due to increased foot problems, but 41 might have fit better. Sadly, I'm having to return them.

These are super comfy flats that make you wanna throw away junky non supportive flats. The arch support is milder than the professional clogs, but still ok. If you like dansko shoes but want some flat mary janes, buy these now. I ordered all the colors except red. I took off one star for the pesky nubuck leather, which is less forgiving than smooth leather. Wish they had a smooth leather option. I bought 41, same size as my professional clogs. TTS They come sprayed with scotch guard, but Dansko website suggests using their brand of suede and nubuck spray, which i regret doing. The spray came out a bit uneven in areas, which left an uneven stain on the lighter colored nubuck in areas— looks like water stain. I won’t wear them on wet days, or questionable midwestern weather days. They are comfy and go with a lot, esp the taupe. The navy color isn’t super dark navy, which i think works better.

These are such cute and comfortable shoes and the taupe color is perfect. However, I really need a wider toe box and these only come in narrow. I also listened to other reviews that these tend toward being too large, so I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal. I felt like my normal size would have been just fine.

Somewhat cute shoe, but it felt a little frumpy on me and didn't seem worth the price. I really liked the navy color.

The shoe is really beautiful. However the toe depth is too much which creates a big space above my toes. So unfortunately I need to return these shoes. Thank you

I love these-the style was exactly what I was looking for and they seem quite well made. My only issue is the size spread of Dansko. I chose the 8.5-9 since they don't offer just a straight size 8, and it is too large for one foot, my slightly smaller foot. Going to the next size down will not work for my larger foot (like many folks, my feet are slightly different sizes). Usually buying an 8-8.5 in most shoe brands works fine for me but Dansko falls too small or large. Their size spread does not seem to work for me. Sadly, I have to return these.

I read the reviews and ordered a size down from my usual - 40 instead of 41 and they fit. Toe box is definitely wide and I considered returning because of this, but they are so comfortable to walk in so I am keeping and am getting used to the look. I now think they are rather cute! Strap is also rather short as other reviewers have noted so if you have thicker ankles they are not going to work for you. I ordered the light tan color and its a nice neutral color.

I love these shoes. I love that they are RED! I love that they can be worn with a dress or pants/shorts. I love the support and comfort. What is off a little is the fit: I have to pull the ankle strap further than is meant to get it snug enough. Also, the toe box has an abundance of room from north to south (or top to bottom): it gaps a little between the top of my foot and the top of the shoe. I've decided it's not so bad that I can't live with it, at least today anyway (just received). I am an older and I appreciate that I could find such a beautiful and stylish shoe that offers such comfort and support.

I would like this shoe better if I hadn’t already had a pair of Naot Rari. (BTW, the Naot brand story is very interesting.) I was hoping to find a black shoe similar to Rari but this one just didn’t compare as well. It is a nice shoe though. Lots of toe room and the straps feel fine. I like the simplicity of design and the materials. I thought the front portion might cut into my foot but it didn’t. It is comfortable but not super cushy. The sole is dark cork (I tried black nubuck) and they look dressier than rubber. What I didn’t like was the heel seems lower than the front (I’m not used to that) and the front part looks a little clunky. Naot’s Rari isn’t so abrupt— it wraps along the sides a little for a softer line. (I’m not a fan of the lacy holes in Rari though, but maybe that’s why they look less clunky….). Another reason I prefer Naot’s Rari is the insole. It is cushier and actually removable/replaceable. They cost fifty bucks more though so it’s definitely a trade off. In the end I’m not keeping these because I just don’t like the way they look on my feet and Rari is more comfy. I suggest you compare the two. Rari is super comfy and really feel great on your feet.

These are cute and I love Danskos, but they were way too wide for my feet (which are narrow). The straps wouldn't adjust even close to tight enough to make them fit me. Bummer!

I love these shoes. I am a little concerned about the durability of the strap.

I really like the style; they are exactly what I’m looking for. My only concern is they seems to be a little lose from the toes to the instep. I hope I don’t regret keeping them since they definitely weren’t inexpensive.

I love the cute modern style. Can wear with dress or capris or jeans. Great arch support. The only thing I would change is making the toe material more form fitting. I’m keeping them because I know I can wear these for years. Perfect for my size 10 medium width feet.
