Customer Reviews New Balance Dynasoft Nitrel v4

I was looking for a shoe that wasn't so "socky," and these New Balances were a step in the right direction. I hate feeling like I'm wearing a sock with some tread and long for the old days where sneakers were made out of leather and a little more supportive. These shoes have SOLID support in the heel but yet are very comfortable. No rubbing and no slipping. They also have some reinforcement around the base of the toes that holds things in a bit, which I appreciate. I have a wide toe box, medium foot width, and a narrow heel, and these fit well. JUST enough width for my toes but no room to spread. They're not my favorite, most comfortable shoes I've ever had, but I'm happy with them and believe they'll stretch a bit to increase comfort in the following months ahead.

NB seems to be running small these days.

I never bought a pair of new balance because they were not too trendy - I was constantly getting blisters from my other shoes and it stopped me from walking for many years - my mom told me to get a pair of new balance and I’ve been walking 8 miles. A day with no blisters !!! Great shows definitely have my business forever

Great pair, as usual! I only buy NB sneakers because they always fit perfectly. Love the colors, unusual combo that’s fun and attractive for year round.

Shoe was roomy. I wear a 7.5 but always buy gym shoes a size larger. Main issue is the height of the shoe below my ankle bone; it rubbed uncomfortably. Granted, that ankle was broken and has a plate and 8 pins in it. Exchanging for a smaller size.

Felt way smaller than the 8 wide, which is what I normally get. I also felt they were cheaply made and would not hold up. I had to return and get something else.

I am stocking up on these Dynasoft Nitrel v4 because they are SO perfect in every way! I walk outside every day in virtually all kinds of weather and on all kinds of terrain, from dry, flat smooth pavement and sidewalk to dirt and gravel and uneven cobblestones and they are WONDERFUL on all of it! Great support, absolutely true to size and so comfortable! I have ankle issues and a severe bunion on my right foot and a smaller bunion on my left foot, so my days of "normal" width shoes are over. New Balance has a generous toe box and great support for my wobbly ankles.

I love the look of these shoes but at the top of the laces where you tie the shoes it was very uncomfortable and rubbed against my ankle. Even when I loosen the shoe laces it continued to rub.

Great shoe for the price. Using orthotic provides more support. Toe box a bit narrower than other New Balance.

I loved the idea of this sneaker. I wore them around the house for an hour or so and decided to go on my first walk around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, during the walk my right big toe started to feel like it was hitting against the area at the front of the shoe that is hard to and meant to protect the toes while trail running. I adjusted and loosened the laces several times but the roe is still bumping the shoe and it is quite uncomfortable. Great concept for a shoe but didn’t work for me. Maybe leave them on in the house longer then an hour if you buy for be sure you don’t have the same issue!

This is a bargain basement shoe. The "toe cap" is like a clown shoe- huge and hard. The shoe itself is easily a half size too small, and just looks clumsy. I should have believed the negative reviews. Don't bother with this one. There's a reason it was in the bargain basket.

These shoes are great and I love the look of them! A shame that NB's sizing changed for no reason and now I'm magically a size 10 after wearing a size nine since 2005

Great looking comfortable shoe

I had to buy a 1/2 size larger. But I put an additional arch support in. Th Dey seem very sturdy & I’m looking forward to taking a long walk in them. Love the color

Bought them for my mom. She loves them! Look nice and are light enough for her to want to use them daily.
