Customer Reviews New Balance Beaya Slip-On

My story: During pandemic I have spent hours and hours a day on computer, sitting. As a result, my body has fallen apart. I've had major hip pain, butt pain, foot pain, knee pain---I know, a real mess. I was getting very concerned the last several weeks, that I would need a cane very soon and pain was always with me. Well, between a good orthopedic cushion and these great shoes, I am a remade woman!! These shoes are not gorgeous or particularly cute and I received the W width instead of the M I ordered so they look really wide. BUT, the comfort is amazing! I have a number of New Balance tennis shoes but I wanted a slip on and these fill the bill. When I investigated the best shoes recommended for arthritis, New Balance was high on the list. I'm waiting for a New Balance mule slip on in the my size to complete my selection. Anyway, folks, these shoes really are amazing! I almost cried when my pain diminished. Now I have a chance to become more active again and become healthier. Vaccinated and grateful.

Love the shoes. Can't get them off my feet. Felt a little large at first, and I thought to exchange them for a half size smaller, but they were so comfortable. I did not want to let them go. They were fine in the gym, too.

These shoes were oddly wide and short. Too bad because the style looks good, but the fit is just terrible.

Shoe was as described but did not work out for walking - too mushy with my foot moving around inside it. That meant my toes were jammed in the smaller area of the shoe with the back of my foot having too much space. I may have been between sizes - the 5.5 was too small. The 6 is what I tried for walking. I did like how they slipped on but again that may have contributed to feeling too big once on. My favorite bootie shoe is a bitch to get on past my high instep/bony top of foot, but exactly right once on...

I was looking forward to an easy and comfy slip on walking shoe...and actually the shoe felt fine but the elastic bands that are there to keep the shoes fitting snuggly were misshapen in that it looked like they were pulled and stretched by the last customer that tried them. The elastic had not reset to their original shape and the shoe looked damaged. So grateful for the easy return policy and have already ordered another shoe.

Ordered 1/2 size larger cause I love comfort. Don't even feel I'm wearing shoes they are THAT lightweight! Wear them for my 3 mile walk every day and my feet never ache. NO BREAK IN TIME. AWESOME! Own two pair. Don't know how they would fit for people who need a lot of arch support; I don't need much and think they're just fine.

These were cute but they feel “cheap” and thin. I was disappointed I thought New Balance made a better quality shoe than this.
