Ordering my third pair of minimus. Hope these never get fazed out. They’re great for any type of training. Just enough padding and ankle support for plyo/cardio type and minimal enough for weightlifting/strength type. If your foot is used to this style of shoe, walking and light jogging is also great with these.

I have always loved New Balances Minimus shoe. This is the perfect fit with a bit wider toe base than the previous and the same comfort of the bare minimum shoe like I am wearing hardly anything at all.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have the minimus trail for running and they are the best (unfortunately they don’t make them anymore). So I bought these for training/ cross training and they are awesome. My usual size is 7.5 but for some reason I’m 8.5 in new balances. Love love love these! I wish they came in more colors.

These minimus are awesome. Super comfortable and stylish. I wear them for CrossFit and they are the best. I usually wear 7.5 but all my NB minimus (this one and the trail runners) are 8.5.

I was hesitant purchasing these shoes because of the reviews but so glad I got them. I’m usually a size 8. I ordered size 9 and they fit perfect. I would suggest ordering a size up and if you have wide feet order wide.

I have been wearing this shoe for the last ten years. I loved the old model and was reluctant to try this new iteration. I am happy to say that I LOVE them. They fit perfectly and offer a bit more stability in the way it hugs around my ankle. Yay! I bought a second pair the day after wearing them on a hike and walking around in town. I’m going to use them for the gym instead of hiking. Arizona terrain is too harsh for them. I have a wide little foot and the tie box was great.

I agree it is not exactly like the old minimus with the vibrum sole. But! This shoe is still great. I am on my 5th pair in 8 years. I have been wearing this shoe since 2014. My husband is on his 3rd pair. And my son will be receiving a pair for Christmas. His second pair. I am a massage therapist and orthopedic acupuncturist with 15 years plus experience dealing with pain management for athletic clients. I cringe when I see young people come in to my office in the thicker soles. People should be wearing a minimal sole like this one to strengthen feet muscles for a holistic body experience. I work on my feet all day and run and hike trails. This shoe is like a second skin for me. I was bummed NB changed the sole but I will say they still make the best minimus cross training trail running shoe around. I cheated on NB to try other brands. I was sorely disappointed. The other shoes out there like these are slippery and dangerous and cause foot pain. This shoe keeps my foot supported while allowing my whole body to stay grounded to the earth. With a minimal sole, we are forced to build our mind body connection to make sure our strike is careful and strong. With thicker soles, people often check out and take their lower extremities for granted, leading to hip, knee and spine dysfunction. This shoe has given my feet long lasting strength that benefits my whole musculoskeletal system and mind body experience through my midlife and beyond. I order half a size up for running.

I was suffering from plantar faciities and tried wearing an old pair of NB Minimus. Sadly, the dog chewed up one. Had to buy a new pair..or two pairs. My feet now feel fantastic.

This is my third pair of Minimus shoes over the past 10 years. They’ve been redesigned a couple of times and this particular version is awesome. Order half a size larger than your normal shoe size. They fit like a glove.

Everything is great about these sneakers. My feet dint pronate or supinate with them, as happens with other sneakers. The only thing is that size runs small. I am normally a size 7.5 in sneakers. With this sneakers I need size 8.

LOVE!!! These shoes are like wearing no shoes, but with a protective barrier from rough terrain. Toe box is nice and wide. Heel is snug and comfortable. I love these for trail hikes. Note: if you have tender feet, you might feel the rocks underfoot. I love how I can grip the ground better due to the flexibility of this shoe. Plus, they are SO lightweight. They are made for running too (they don't have the typical cushion and specifically note on the tag that you need to change your style of running for these shoes).

I love this shoe! Wanted a zero-drop with some cushion, like the Altra Solstice, which I also love but just wanted an alternative. In the Solstice (as in almost all shoes) I'm an 8.5, normal width. After reading reviews of this shoe I got a 9, wide width. It's perfect. Definitely recommend.

I like them. I felt they were a little short. I went up a half a size and was still just a tab short. I really like these. They're comfortable. I would recommend.

Perfect for narrow feet. I've been looking for years for a shoe that would work for me for Tai Chi. (I've never found a martial arts shoe that is comfortable and adjusts well for a narrow, low volume foot.) These are expensive for that purpose, but worth it to me. They are cute enough to wear for every day, too. If you're looking for traditional, cushion-y running shoes, this is probably not what you want.

Previously I bought the minimus trail shoes but since NB doesn't make them anymore, I decided to give these shoes a chance. I'm glad I did because I find them to be quite comfortable and a good shoe for those that prefer less cushioning. I usually wear a size 8 but I bought a 8.5 because of the reviews. I'm glad I did because they fit perfectly.
