Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v11

I’ve owned several pairs of the 1080 style and have loved them for years. The 11s are awful: stiff, huge heel box, and not at all soft like their predecessors. What did new balance do to this shoe? Please bring back the old style and fit. Super bummed I have to find a new shoe now :( For reference, I usually run around 30 miles per week.

The shoe is laced so tight, it is hard to loosen enough to put on. It comes up too high and rubs my ankles. It slips on the heel. Extremely uncomfortable.

I have worn New Balance FF 1080s for years…. the last 3 pair I’ve purchased split on the back of the show above the heel. the split is under the fabric so it eventually pockets through and puts a hole in the fabric. this never happened with this brand until the last few years. The NB brand IMO has diminished significantly. I have bad feet problems and this is the only brand that’s comfortable. Time to try a new brand…. I’m soooo disappointed.

I have loved the v10 and hope to love the v11. However, the entire heel section of the shoe has been redesigned and fits very differently. I was very disappointed as most of what I read about the update was with the fabric mesh and the toe box.

Great sneakers, second pair of the 1080v11. Don’t like the redesigned 1080v12. Super comfortable. I have a wider foot and the medium width worked.

Im a nurse and originally found these shoes on the newbalance website and bought a previous version. They are the most comfortable shoes ive found to work in with plantar fasciitis, i dont need any additional arch support (the insole needs some time to form to your feet) like i have in other shoes made for nurses or walking. I wont be trying any other brand of shoes any time soon, especially because its hard to find a good shoe brand with wider shoes. Glad to have found the color i wanted from the newbalance website but for 2/3 the price!

These shoes fit true to size in both length and width, and provide good support. I have really high arches, and these seem to fit me well. I have been running in them for a little over a week now with no blisters or other issues.

Once again New Balance delivered. Not in the literal sense of course.(Zappos has that part mastered??)Everything about the fit is spot on. No weird lumps or pinching anywhere. It’s nice to have a shoe ? you can depend on.

Fit is perfect. Cushioning is great. I’ve ran in so many shoes and now that my feet have “aged” these are perfect !!!!!

I have worn this brand for several years and continue to love the support and cushion. Not a big fan of this color but it was all that was available. I can live with it!
