Close. These are just about as perfect as a water shoe can get. With the exception of the fact they don't float. I wore these shoes to a lake trip where I swam in them, jumped off cliffs, loaded and unloaded a boat, etc. They were great. I then wore them on a river. They were great! Of course rocks got in them, but they're easy enough to get off and on and the holes are big enough to keep the tiny rocks, that build up in typical water shoes, flushed out. On the trip, my foot got caught on a submerged limb. The shoe popped right off, which I'm happy because I didn't drown. However the shoe was never seen again. That was the 2nd time that I lost one of the shoes on the river trip. The first time it was found on the river floor where the current wasn't as strong.

I bought these as an alternative to flip flops. They're great. The black pair a kind of hard to clean. They run big so size down. Fairly comfortable

Needed some shoes for the garden. These fit well - purchased a size 10 after trying on a size 11 - at a Van's store. I usually wear a 10.5 D. Just spent the last couple hours in the garden wearing these and they stay on and flex extremely well without any discomfort. Cleaned up well too!

Great for the pool or beach! We took ours to the Grand Canyon. I wish I would have gone a size down but still comfortable.

Super cute. Normally a Women's 8.0 but had to purchase the Boy's 6.0, which is equivalent to a Women's 7.5. Wish there was a size that was equal to mines because the fit was kind of close; hence, the reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, very functional as a swim/water shoe. Wore them to a water park and it was great that I didn't have to walk on the yucky concrete!

Just got them and only wore them one time so far. Feels really comfortable and didn't rub any raw spots on my heels.

Could def be $10 less to buy shoes that don't fit. Using them as garden shoes / slip on shoes for outdoor chores and beach trips. I'm a diehard Vans fan, but these are so confusing to me.

The shoes are great but it was recommended to size down since I wear an 8 and they only carry half sizes. I'd prefer my normal size.

I used these as a driving slide without socks & I biked in them. They are highly comparable to all other foam slides. A great buy if you don't want other brands slides because of popularity. Comfortable and cones in a bunch of colors.

I do wears these a lot. In most cases they are comfortable. The few times taking them to the beach though sand and pebbles get in and make them hard to walk in. I understand that is to be expected, being at a beach and all. I end up taking them off. In every other situation they are great and I am happy to see more colors coming out.

Great lightweight do it all summer shoe. Great for the outdoors

The idea is nice but these aren't good for wide feet :(

Comfy enough to wear out for a good while but the heel area is a little fragile. I've worn them about 5x and the back left area has ripped.

Like the tie-die, thought the foam rubber-like material would be lighter, airier, like Crocs@ .

Ordered for my wife and they are too big. She is a size 9 in women's so I went with a size 8 and they are too big. I ordered a size 9 and mine were too big also. I'm a 8.5, if you were a half size go down a size not up!

I was so excited to get these and once they arrived the sizing was off and they were too big. I didn't want to hassle with returning them so I just kept them. I'm a men's 8.5 so I went with a size 9. I wish I would have sized down. I ordered my wife a pair as well and hers are too big also. The size 8 I got for me perfectly. If your a half size between sizes I'd recommend going down instead of up a size! Also since they are too big they trashed my ankles until they were broke in.
