I really liked the Enigma color. Jacket was getting surprisingly wide from the hips (A-line) and sleeves from the wrists were a bit tight

I'm really happy with my purchase! I've been caught in a few monsoon downpours and I have remained perfectly dry. The coat is a nice length for my 5' 4" frame as it covers the butt, but isn't too long. Love the cinch waist for a bit of style, and the hood cinches to really keep out the elements. I purchased an M for added roominess for layering and for reference I am 135 lbs. The only thing that threw me a bit is the sleeve length, which is definitely on the long side. After a few weeks of owning this jacket I am no longer bothered by the sleeves, especially when gloves and an extra layer are added.

Best. EVER! For sizing reference and assist you: I'm 125lbs, I wear small in most arcteryx, 28 in jeans. I got a size small and it has plenty of room for layer witjout being bulky. It is very lightweight and easy to fold and throw in a suitcase. I worn this puppy in pouring torrents, water up to my knees in the West Coast heavy flood we've had and it did it's job. Keeping me dry and warm. I wear it with the proton jacket (superior to the atom. Also reviewed) and it can tackle anywhere from just bellow freezing to above if you're gonna move. The construction is flattering. I included a picture where it is layered. The color pictured is Luscent. The cinch is flattering and does not feel bulky or extra fabric. I'll keep using for hiking, cycling, traveling, jumping in puddles and eating snowflakes. Thanks for reading! Stay safe peeps.

As always, Arc'teryx has the most premium and well thought out design quality. This jacket took things to the next level by fitting me perfectly while still giving me enough extra room for maximum mobility. I'm so excited and happy to use my new purchase.

Living in the rainy Pacific Northwest, a truly waterPROOF jacket or coat is a must. I'm at the age where I wanted a rain coat with a bit more, hmmm, elegance? (I have a waterproof rain jacket I wear when I'm gardening.) Arc'teryx's Codetta Cinch Coat met all my requirements and expectations. I love the sleeves with shaped cuff with the elastic on the underside; the cinch in the back allows me to have a bit more shape; it is lightweight BUT thoroughly waterproof; my arthritic hands easily handled the zipper; and it looks wonderful on. The day it arrived it was pouring, temp in the high 40s, and I immediately put it on over a wool turtleneck and a wool vest and went for a walk. I stayed warm and dry. The large deep adjustable hood is great too; when I came home from my walk in the rain and my glasses weren't speckled with water. I absolutely adore the color - Phantasm - which is sort of a dark plummy raisin. (I also ordered the 2019 model from another source but found the two-way zipper and snaps on the placket too difficult to use so returned that model.) I have recommended it to all my friends. For anyone wanting a waterPROOF rain coat, I highly recommend the Codetta Cinch Coat.

I bought this for a trip to Newfoundland. It held up when we were outside during a tropical storm and is also a nice windbreaker even if it's not raining. I love it!!

Great trench coat. Keeps you dry and the cinch makes the profile slim and feminine. My new favourite trench.

This is my third Codetta as they keep coming out with colors I can't resist! I love this new updated styling with the cinch back and the reduced volume on the hood. Always appreciated the length for travel and everyday use.

I love the cinch on this jacket because it's flattering for so many body types and adds some flare to your rain coat. I'm happier that it's longer in the back than the front which is quite stylish and functional for sitting. I got it muddy and was able to just wash off the mud on the walk so the goretex is great as with any arcteryx product. I'm happy I sized up since the shoulders are a bit narrow and I've got broad shoulders. Arms are a good length and a bit cinched by the hands. Overall great jacket!

Bought this in black XS. Fits well in the shoulders with room for layers and the cinch gives this coat a pretty feminine shape. The sleeves are a good length as well. I find the zipper a bit tough to pull up but hoping the waterproof feature makes it worth it. Haven't worn it in the rain yet, but I don't mind the stiffness of the gore-Tex material. The hood is a generous size. For reference, I am 5,4 and 110 lbs.

I love this jacket...I was looking for something light and waterproof and packable as well as all weather (for a temperate climate as here in SC and travels abroad). I have worn it so often already as it is wind proof-- even if no rain it is a perfect outdoor jacket and one can easily wear layers under it if necessary. highly recommend and so glad that i ordered when i did as i see it has sold-out !

After reading all reviews saying it runs really big, I ordered 1 size down, but when I received it, it appeared to be way too small. Even 1 size up wouldn't help, so I think I'll need to size up rather than size down. All in all I liked it very much, too bad I had to return it. Will have to go to the store to try it on first now.

Bought this for the wife. The front zipper is two way, and relatively difficult to use, takes some practice to get the hang of. Other than that zipper, the rest of the jacket seems to have a good fit, usual Arc'teryx quality waterproofing. We got it off the outlet, otherwise I might consider returning it for a jacket with an easier to use zipper.

I was excited to get my Codetta jacket but was a little disappointed with it upon arrival. First thing I noticed is that the colour isn't as nice as the photo. The image is more of a mid neutral tan but the colour in real life is definitely greener and lighter, which I really don't like. I do like the cinch feature however there aren't any stoppers to keep the cinch in place and so just from moving around the cinch loosens pretty quickly. I also wish that it cinched in the front as well, because when you cinch it it kind of bubbles out in the front due to the zipper. Two things I do really love about this jacket are the sleeve and hem length. A lot of the time I find sleeves to be too short, it's nice to have a longer length, especially for a rain coat. Finally the waterproofness of this jacket is amazing, the rain just beads up and rolls off. The fabric is definitely doing it's job. Ultimately this is a nice enough jacket it's just not quite what I was hoping for.

I bought this for my girlfriend after she kept getting soaked in her regular coat. She's 5'1" and so needed something small enough, and went for an XS. The coat was mostly great. Goretex, lovely colour and flattering fit, but the cuffs were terrible. They weren't small enough so the sleeves kept sliding down over her hands, and weren't adjustable either. What's frustrating is that the other long city coats that Arc'teryx do have much better cuffs. Either press studs or an stretchy inner gaitor, but these just had a bit of elastic running through a few inches of the underside off the cuff. A real shame! Had to return it, but I'm hoping next year they move to more adjustable/accommodating cuffs.

Arc'teryx... could you please bring back the older version of this coat? It was such a lovely minimalistic and sleek design and in my opinion much better looking than the cinch version (too much fabric). The "older" design was more contemporary and perfect for both outdoor and casual city /professional wear. Thank you for (maybe) listening or considering...

Bought the Codetta Coat 12/21 (designed in 2019 I think). The fit was great EXCEPT the sleeve armholes are so tight, it cuts into the skin. My daughter is a size 0; the small was tight and hurt around the armholes. Same for me in the Medium.
