Surprisingly, I had to go down a size. I seem to be a 10 in most other brands (ie Athleta, Kuhl). I have a muscular lower body and the 10 was too baggy in the butt. The 8 fits great. Just the right amount of stretch and the corduroy fabric is not heavy at all.

I have several of theses in 4 and 6 inch length and they are great but… but… the size varies widely from color to color. I normally wear an 8 and have several in this style, but one in blue was way too small and another yellowish gold was huge.

5'6" 124 lbs - size 2 fit great. Originally bought the size 2 but since material is stretchy they got baggy!

I listened to the other reviewers and went down a size but the smaller size fit super snug. I have to return the smaller size for my regular size. I don't recommend going down a size unless you are in between sizes and closer to the size down or if you like your shorts very tight. The shorts are very nice though -- I look forward to the regular size.

I’m shocked people say these run 1-2 sizes larger. I bought a size smaller than I normally wear because of those comments and they were so tight! I have to return them for my regular size now. Maybe if you’re very close to the next size down or like tight clothing then you can go down one. Other than that these are super cute.

I am 5'8" and 180' and purchased the cumin color in a size 10. I was surprised upon taking them out of the bag that they have a light corduroy look, which is not indicated in the description (although after looking at the pictures again - pic # 4 in particular, I could tell.) I also didn't care for the cumin color as I viewed it as a golden khaki color, but it was more intense/saturated and not really either. Overall they were comfortable, but I didn't care for the color or way they looked on my larger thighs. They would be really cute for a younger, thinner, and more toned woman for sure.

I'm not sure why these shorts have such a rave following. People get obsessed with these. They are fine. The material is pretty thin and cheapy feeling to me. I do like the 6" length, which is really hard to fine. Fit true to size for me -- perhaps slightly tight in the thighs. Okay shorts but not worth the price or obsession.

Can confirm sizing down was the way to go for me too. 5’ 6”, 120lbs, narrow hips. Size 2 is good. Swimming in the 4.

These run a size or two large. I really like these shorts and may order additional colors.

I love these shorts but they run quite big. Had to return because smallest size available is a 6, which is what i usually wear (between 6 and 8!), and I need a size 4 in these. sad they aren't available

I have purchased several pairs of the corduroy 6 inch length shorts. I ordered a larger size and it does not feel like a larger size. I am finding that the sizes are a bit inconsistent.

Very cute shorts! So comfortable and they are the perfect length. They arrived quickly, sooner than expected. Im sure they will be a favorite of mine.
