Saucony has been the best fit for my child's feet--wide toe box and narrow heels. These are spot on, and everything we love about the Saucony fit. I'll be getting another pair to rotate, and of course new ones every time we grow up a half size! Note: we were getting W sizes, but this M size seems to be fine--child says it's comfortable.

I've always had to go up one full size and usually in wide because Saucony runs a size smaller compared to New Balance. I thought I would try Saucony again hoping he could wear a 7 since he's close to needing a 7 now and these are nice neutral color to transition last of summer to fall. NOPE, their sizing is still a full size smaller than other brands. His New Balance 6.5 foot was a tight fit in the Saucony 7 and his toes hit the end, no room at all. Disappointing bc there's a $30 jump in price to the men's sizes (ouch!! he's only 10 yrs old!) I always preferred the Saucony and New Balance brand shoes for my son's feet bc of good support compared to the lack of arch support in others like skechers or nike. I wish Saucony had better comparable sizing to others and didn't run so small, bc they've always held up thru wear which is why I rated overall as a 3 :(

Within a month, the tread on both of the soles began detaching from the shoe. Very disappointing

Size was definitely off. They are not wide at all and seemed too snug to be a 6.5. My son’s other shoes are 5.5 and I ordered a whole size up, but they were still way too small. Disappointed.

They stopped making a previous version of these with only a Velcro closure, but these are actually really basically slip ons with a Velcro across the tongue. My son loves the colorway and they were immediately comfortable. Good grip on the soles without being an overly heavy shoe, sturdy enough to withstand kid stuff. I wish they were $35 a pair instead of $50 and I would buy another set.

These are sturdy and comfortable. Great shoes for an active kid. I like how the strap is long enough to go over his wide foot easily (our last pair of New Balance had a shorter strap).

Like several other reviews say, the treds come off of the sole. It’s really frustrating. We’ve superglued them back so many times they are beyond repair after less than 6 months of wear.

I was hopeful about these shoes, but after 1 month they are coming apart. Either the glue or stitching has completely given out and the black parts of the sole are falling off as well

This shoe is a real workhorse. It has withstood daily wear by my highly active son. It is starting to show some wear around the upper edges due to his carefree way of putting on and kicking off the shoe.

My little boy has always loved Saucony shoes. He tells me they feel better on his feet and you can also tell by how he walks and plays in them. They are also more sturdy than other brands and hold up to rough playing for a lot longer.

My 3 year old has excellent traction climbing on rocks. The playground has to be dry for these to have good traction, and undoing the Velcro strap himself is a HUGE undertaking. This is a bug in a shoes-off preschool and a feature on the playground. Overall, great.

My son had wide feet and its hard to find shoes that would be comfortable. This just checks off all the criteria.
