These are the absolute worst shoes. I don't normally buy Stride Rite, but thought I'd give them a try because my son loved the colors. Within one week the elastic laces unstitched and came apart. They feel cheaply made.

My 7 year old wore these shoes for a week and a half and the soles looked like someone had shredded them. Terrible, soft material that should not be used on the soles.

Nice, sturdy feel

The dial and string on off system is way too difficult for grandma, grandpa and the 4 year old.

My grandson loved these shoes. Ordered a pair of New Balance, the same size, but these shoes were bigger when we tried them on.

Good fit for wide feet. My son has been wearing these for about 5 months and they're still holding up, I'll probably size up in the same model. We bought a New Balance sneaker at the same time as these and the strap barely pulls across even though they're the same size.

Kiddo loves these, wears every day. After less than a couple of months one of the “laces” came loose. Kiddo doesn’t care, but that’s the missing star.
