Too tight in toebox , but is a beautiful shoe.

These shoes, unexpectedly, required breaking in, a first, in my experience, with Trotters. I really wanted these to replace a beloved pair of pewter leather loafers. My biggest issue with Trotters is how the heel never fits. I'm forever slipping out of the shoe because of the heel and have fallen or seriously tripped because of this, more than once. I've kind of given up on Trotters. They are too expensive to put up with anything other than a perfect fit and comfort.

This shoe was extra wide in the heel area. Because the shoe was very soft leather weave my foot was running over. The arch could have had more support. I did liked the loo of the shoe.

I wanted to love them but the comfort was not there. The toe box was cramped. I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 M with a narrow heel. While these Trotters are not pointed, they are pointed enough to squeeze from toes so they have to be returned. And I am sorry!

The shoe was very tight And was really uncomfortable.

NEEDED MORE SUPPORT

I am always a perfect 7M in a shoe and sadly this shoe fits very small -- its a very pretty shoe, just much too small

Usually wear 8.5 Narrow.....much too wide.

I thought I had submitted this before. The shoes just arrived. I liked them but the fit was not right. Left shoe felt a bit longer and both shoes felt a bit too wide. Style was great.

I think the fit and size would have been fine, except the side of the shoe was tall enough to rub and make them uncomfortable. I liked the style and color.

It was not what I thought

I ordered the 9 Wide and unfortunately it did not feel wide enough. The color and style are awesome, I was sad to send them back!

Too wide -- a surprise, as this brand has always fit me before.

I really like the look of these shoes, but even the wide shoes are not wide enough for my feet. I think they come in an extra wide, but those usually end up being too wide in the heel.

I returned these shoes as they have the leather strips that eventually start to break off. I kept the Trotters Croc style.

The shoe felt really small. I think width issue may have been the style.

I liked the style and it was true to size, 7.5 narrow. The problem was the finish around the side of your foot. The seam was rough and one of the nylon threads was sticking out. It was very uncomfortable after wearing a short time.

The fit was narrow and it put pressure on my hammer toe. Also, the texture felt weird on the rest of my foot and the heel was too wide. It kept slipping on my heel.

Uncomfortable. Returning them.

The shoe runs wide. Not a true narrow.

I really regret buying these. They definitely run small - impossible to wear without slicing my Achilles tendon. As other reviewers mentioned, the “leather” (plastic) started peeling immediately. Highly disappointed.

They looked nice on the pictures, they feel like old lady shoes. Love the brand but these are disappointing
