The overall fit is fine and the material is soft, but these sandals are just not worth the money! The heel strap sits far too low and after a few steps starts for slip off the back of my heel … very inconvenient to have to stop every 10 steps to adjust. The heel straps are also too short as they push my foot very far forward leaving an inch of sole behind my heel and my toes pushed to the very edge in front. There is also slight discomfort on top of my big toe where the strap there is gathered through a loop leaving it kind of bulky which presses into my toe. Dark blue flat sandals are very hard to find, and I don’t have time now to find another pair for the event I bought these for. I would not recommend these.

I wear a size 11WW. This shoe’s length was good and so was the width, but the style of the upper straps do not hold my foot in place, so my foot slides forward and my toes hang over the front of the sole and there is a gap at the heel. I tried adjusting at the buckle, but still got the same results. The shoe is quality made and cute on the foot, but the style just didn’t work for me. Will have to return these.

The strappy shoes I purchased are just what I needed. Great fit, (because i have a troublesome little toe). They appear to be well made. Time will tell. The only problem I have is that for what these shoes cost, I would have preferred that they were made in the USA, and not China.

the material is nice and soft but the design is very bad for a person with bunions. Please see photo. If the designer could just add a piece of the material on the side to cover the bunion, these sandals would be perfect. As they are, they are unwearable because the bunion falls off the edge. Not to mention it's unattractive. We need shoes that disguise the bunion with soft material that doesn't rub on the bone.

The fit was good, but there is a seam at the ball of my foot that would rub and give blisters. Had to return them.

These cute sandals don't stay under my feet. The comfy stretchy straps don't hold my feet in place. Best worn for short periods.

Agreeing with the other reviewers that this should have been a winner, but the back strap is in a strange place and won't stay on your foot.

the design of the sandal creates a pressure point right on my big toe. For a double-wide width, the foot bed wasn't sufficient.

I should have listened to the reviews, I love how these look, but the back just is not made right, cannot be tightened enough to stay on, plus my foot tended to walk off of the front in a way I have never had another sandal do. I wanted to love them, ((sigh))

I purchased this shoe in Pewter. The color is gorgeous and the shoe is comfortable. There is a knot at the big toe that can be problematic if the shoe doesn't fit your foot perfectly (mine did). But other than that, I wish I had purchased every color when they were available.

I love the style/color/fit was perfect but unfortunately I had to return it because I didn't like how it looked on my feet. I have small bunions and straps didn't quite cover them as much as I would like otherwise I would've kept them.

The style is very attractive. I ordered it in navy and the color is true. The leather is buttery soft and good quality. The insole is cushy and comfortable. I ordered in the size and width I usually wear for a Softwalk sandal, however, with this particular sandal style, the heel wasn’t wide enough for my foot and my toes went past the edge. So 1/2 a size bigger may have resolved the toes area sizing, but I don’t think it would have corrected the heel width. But this is a well-made stylish shoe and I will continue to try Softwalk brand for my sandals in the future.

This sandal would look nice on someone who did not have bunions. The decorative front straps run in front and in back of my bunion drawing attention to the exact area I'd prefer to cover. I appreciated that Softwalks come in the rarely available size 10.5, and the size was true to fit.

The fit was good—very nice in fact. Like a warm glove. I wanted a style to show off a pedicure with a pretty dress for Mother’s Day. What I didn’t expect was for them to also keep my feet warm. Definitely a bonus! I frequently read reviews before buying and did so on this purchase, too. I simply couldn’t believe the “heel strap slipping” issue could be as bad as described by so many others—and surely if it used to be, the company would have fixed it by now. Welllll….. it’s not quite as bad as some described, but ANY heel slippage is too much. I’m an old lady now and bending over to put that strap back is neither easy nor graceful. As much as I wanted to keep them, I cannot justify over $100 for a pair of shoes that will rarely leave my home. At a much lower price, I might have made a different choice.

The uppers are a fine-grain suede, soft, and comfortable on the skin. My concern is the wrap-around styling - they are not exactly secure on my feet, and lead me to think I might walk out of the heel once in a while. I like the style, but the lack of secure-on-the-foot feeling is making me seriously think about returning. I ordered a 12WW, and the footbed is wide enough, and ball of my foot is snug but I don't feel squeezed. Although they don't feel secure to me, the styling is quite nice for a more casual summer look.

The size was perfect but the strap attached to the sole of the shoe was awkward. It seems it would be better if it was the same on both sides of the shoe. I feel that the strap would fall off the back of the heel. Other wise I loved this shoe. The style and comfort of the front of the shoe was great.

Have had more comfortable shoes. Didn't think arch support was enough. Difficult to adjust strap size.

Super pretty shoe, just didn't fit comfortably. The straps felt in the wrong spot to fit comfortably on my foot. I had to return and I was sure they were going to be perfect.
