I typically wear a 7; I got the European size 37 and it was a tad small for me, comparable to a 6.5, but it still worked. I have had these shoes for about a year now; I wear them regularly and for long periods of time (I work at a job where I'm on my feet all day). They are very comfortable and cute, the zipper makes for easy on/off. One major downside for me is that the front of the sole has already come unstitched from the leather after only one year. Considering the price of these shoes, I would expect them to last more than one year. It's a bit disappointing to need new shoes already when the rest of the shoe seems to be holding up fine.

The shoes were just what I wanted. I was so disappointed that a 38 size was not the same size as in most shoe brands. It was too short and the toe band is a bit short too. The shoes are really cute too.

I loved how comfortable these shoes were. However the shoe was flatter, had less heal than what I normally wear. The color was as described, but just wasn't what I wanted. I will return them.

Just did not fit and was returned.

I have purchased many Rieker shoes in size 38 in the past -- always great, never returned a pair until this one. It was definitely too short compared to my other pairs. Surprised. Had to return.

I was really looking forward to this pair of shoes. I've a pair of ankle boots in a similar style (by Remonte which I believe is a Reiker brand) from several years ago that have been the best; have been especially great to wear when traveling. I ordered the same size - 43 - but this shoe was considerably smaller, shorter in length and a bit narrower in the toe box, so they were returned, sadly.

Too loose in the heel cup, almost like they used a male last. Too bad, otherwise I liked them and I have to return.

This shoe was very narrow for my foot which has a narrow heel. Too bad as I like this brand.

Very unfortunately, I need to return these shoes as they are too small, too short. Had high hopes as I have another pair of Remonte/Rieker EU 43 that fits so well and have a lot of walking miles on them. This pair, online size indicated EU 42/43 is too small, too short. Huge disappointment.

I put my custom orthotics in after removing the insoles and they fit alright. Sadly there’s just no cushion in the soles. I need to feel as if I am well supported and like I am walking on air. I could feel the hard ground beneath my every step in these shoes. I knew I would not be happy with them. I like the style but they fail the comfort test.

These shoes run small in my opinion. Trying the next size up but I worry the heel will slip.

I own these in red which I loved. Unfortunately these look more like old school nurses shoes but in black :(

Not happy with this item as the zippers do not open and close smoothly. In fact on one shoe they get stuck halfway. I have several shoes from this company with zippers and they have been outstanding but this particular shoe was very disappointing. I am returning.
