As a varsity track and field coach, I use this bag for training and athletic gear and sports equipment. It travels with me to every track meet and athletes use it as they need. It's low, kind of boxy profile lends nicely to travel on the bus and organization with the rest of the gear. It's quick and easy to get into because of the shape of the bag as well. The dividers are nice.

I love the compactness of this duffel when not in use. The 62l is the perfect size for hiking and traveling.

The North Face duffel is an exceptional bag that is perfect for all your travel needs. With its rugged design, durable materials, and spacious interior, this duffel is sure to impress even the most discerning traveler.
The first thing that strikes you about this duffel is its sturdy construction. The bag is made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand the rigors of travel. The outer shell is made from tough, water-resistant fabric that will protect your belongings from the elements. The zippers are also heavy-duty, ensuring that your items stay secure while you're on the move.
But what really sets this duffel apart is its incredible functionality. The bag features multiple pockets and compartments, giving you plenty of room to store everything from your clothes and toiletries to your laptop and other electronic devices. The main compartment is extremely spacious, and there are also several smaller pockets and compartments for organizing your smaller items.
Another great feature of this duffel is its versatility. The bag can be carried as a traditional duffel, or you can use the detachable shoulder strap to carry it like a messenger bag, as well as a backpack. There are also several handles on the bag that make it easy to carry in different ways, depending on your needs.
Overall, the North Face duffel is an outstanding bag that is well worth the investment. Whether you're a frequent traveler or just need a reliable bag for your weekend trips, this duffel has everything you need to stay organized and comfortable on the go.
Oh and if you're a frequent flyer this duffel can opt as your personal carry on. Highly recommended!

I bought this bag for short trips. Usually 2-5 day trips. And it honestly does not disappoint! It's easy for me to lug around the airport and walk around cities with. From my experience it holds up exceptionally well, but I've never used it for camping or hiking. Still has plenty of room for me to buy extra clothing and souvenirs. The only thing I wish this company would do for this product is release different color schemes lol

Love this bag! Bought it for my 2 week trip 2 Bali and it fit everything I needed. This bag made it through every airport as a carry on. Love it and can not recommend it enough.

Bought this bag for a 14 day 2500 mile road trip. I have a similar 60L from another company and found that to be sometimes too small. I was able to fit everything I needed in this bag with room to spare. I even went shopping while on the trip and brought too much clothes to begin with. The side pockets were great for my toiletries & flip flops/running shoes. The material is solid and took my tosses through the trees with ease. Even rubbed it against some sandstone rock and held up fine. While packing up it was raining steady and I left the bag in the weather for 45 min and the only wet spot where the zippers meet. I had them more towards the side than in the middle where it might do better. Converting it into a backpack was easy and felt fine on my shoulders. The only negative I have to share is no shoulder strap hooks on the bag. Otherwise this bag is perfect for traveling.

I bought this backpack for a 2 week trip to Thailand. My first grab was the divider. I really wanted a duffle that had divider options and lots of pocket storage and this bag does. At first, I was hesitant about having to check it on the airplane but it made it through my many flights without a scratch and kept my clothes and liquids organized. Also, LOVE that the backpack straps tuck in so they aren't always hanging around. I don't usually buy myself items like this but I was so happy I did buy this bag. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

- When used as a backpack, the straps are too close together at the top (too narrow) so they pinch your neck BADLY. I compared to all other backpacks and they are constructed closer together than every single other pack that i've seen, even small 15L daypacks. THIS IS A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW! Also the backpack straps have 1/10 padding so they are extremely uncomfortable. The pack is absolutely terrible when used in this way.
- One of the clips broke on day 2 of travel. Super cheap plastic.
- The exterior shell is 300D compared to the 1000D of the original NF duffle. So don't get fooled that this new design is better.
- The bottom is a rough fabric bc the shell is so weak, and that means it also means less water-resistance. So if there's liquid on the floor/surface below, it'll soak into the bag.
- Interior divider always comes lose. The loop system is highly ineffective. Very clear this bag wasn't tested at all.
+ Positives are that it works as a bag... nothing special at all.

Great Duffel/backpack, lightweight and fits so much stuffs in it. I ordered two different sizes 62L and 42L. I think 62L is great for like two weeks trips ,and 42L is for like one week trip.

Love the material & color. Very lightweight, but durable. I'm a fan or organization and the removable center divider for multiple compartments makes me happy! Very spacious, multiple compartments, easy to store.

The zippers are sometimes hard to zip. I wouldn't be surprised if they break at some point. I like the divider, but it doesn't stay in place very well.
It's a perfect size for a 3-5 day trip. I like that the lip pouch is divided in two. The shoulder strap design is great.
I strongly recommend this bag.

Great bag. Durable and lots of space. Two things I would change:
1. The panel that separate inside constantly gets detached from the loops inside the bag, making it kind of useless. Recommend something the snap in place.
2. I recommend have a shoulder strap. It's nice that this can be used as a back pack. However if I'm already carrying a back pack, I'd prefer to have a shoulder strap.

Great quality, you can immediately tell it by the texture of the material used. Useful compartments.

I use the Voyager as a carry-on. Plenty of space for most trips. The backpack design leaves my hands free for wrangling checked luggage and kids when required. The side handles keep the bag close to the body and eliminate swinging.I never used the carry straps, so I hacked them into compression straps by cutting and adding buckles.

Seriously love Base Camp bags! I purchase this for my boyfriend who goes to the mountains frequently and totes a lot of gear. He loves it! Lighter than the Base Camp with all the same features but this one has an optional interior divider. The back pack straps are clutch! So handy when your hands are full!

This bag is perfect for travel. Use this for a carry on and love that it has the backpack straps. The divider is awesome since it's adjustable for different locations in the bag. Plenty of space for everything you need. 10/10 purchase

Use this bag for lugging gear around for skiing and work. I bought it because my car was broken into so I needed an easy way to transport the things I bring with me to and from my car regularly. This duffle has been great. The divider can be a little annoying if the bag is empty but if you have some items in the bag it's much better.
