A solid, versatile duffel that is prefect for short trips or those that can pack light. It's large enough to fit a few days of clothes, but small enough for carry-on and light enough to not break your back.

I use the bag as a go to daily bag, take it everywhere I go. I like the divider that comes with it, the computer storage and the extra pockets to put my essentials. The bad thing about it is the clips are made with plastic which I don't like.

First trip with this bag was a success. Perfect size for a carry-on bag. Thick material makes this duffel feel rugged where others I've had felt cheap. Many carry handles. Zippers stayed secure packed full. I do wish the backpack straps were removable.

I have used it for getaways and as a carry on it is perfect! I fit 3 pairs of shoes and multiple outfits! I can't wait to use it for camping and hiking next!! I would highly recommend this bag!

Great small duffle. I use for overnights primarily. The pockets and dividers are great! High quality, I know it will last for a long time!

I think the bag has fantastic potential. Design is spot on quality is north face of old, super high. Things I wish the bag had colon more adjustable than just two positions for the interior divider, a third position to help disperse weight differently would be better. The laptop sleeve should be able to be on the inside against your back or on the outside. The padding for the laptop an internal electronic compartment could be a little better.

Great pack, just only wish it had a waist strap to use on day hikes as well

I bought this for the top flap feature but the length is too long. I"m only 5;2" and it's a bit long & awkward to carry on my back. It's great as there are no issues to fit under front seat on planes, but it juts out a bit, blocking some foot space but it's not a deal breaker. Wish it were a little shorter.

Measurments off from volume! Please add / change location for straps, make removable like Patagonia. Add carry straps holder n compression straps like Thule!

Great bag, but found the buckles to be incredibly fragile and do not think they will hold up well with use on multiple trips. I plan to return.

I'm giving this bag 3 stars. I ended up returning it because I really wish you could fully remove the backpack straps and that it had a crossbody strap instead. If you're looking for a duffel that can convert to a backpack then definitely get this one. I just wanted a duffel that was a duffel. I liked that it had a divider that you could use in two different locations, but I found it challenging to keep the toggles in place. I'm sure when it's full it wouldn't have been an issue. Otherwise loved the quality and material. It came packaged inside itself which was a nice feature.

I returned this bag because the straps were too close together to be comfortable on my neck. It is really good quality and it folds up very small, just didn't fit right.

wanted to use the bag for daily trips: gym, change of clothes to work etc. Bag is well designed. For a bag this light a sling style over the shoulder strap would be better than the included back pack style straps which are too cumbersome and essentially useless

I really wanted to love this bag but it fell short of the mark in many crucial areas. First and foremost, the ergonomics were poorly thought out. One of the backpack straps attached to the side of the bag so if you try to just throw one strap over one shoulder for a half-on carry, it continuously slips off your body (and the straps are thin and provide no support). Equally disappointing, there's no duffel strap to carry this bag like a duffel bag which it passes itself off as a hybrid of. All the compartments are great, but having the laptop pocket so that the laptop is against your back (and without padding!) is poorly thought out design. The "adjustable compartment" wall on the inside would be nice but the points of attachment come undone easily on their own. The water bottle pocket does not stretch so you are very restricted in size/shape of water bottles you can use. Paracord drawstrings on the outside for a sweatshirt/windbreaker would've been a great touch. Finally, the plastic buckles on this bag are very thin and cheap. North Face needs to come up with a better hybrid version of the base camp duffel. You're so close and it's right there in front of you. Once you get it right I'll purchase again but for now, this is getting returned.

Needs some "support" on the sides to make packing more convenient. I also believe straps were put on the wrong side. Northface please rethink the design of this bag. Thank you.

I agree with another reviewer. This is junk riding on the coattails of the basecamp duffel.

I purchased this bag for short trips and general use. I own a L Base camp Duffel ("LBCD") and use it for "real" trips/camping/hauling gear. As I like the LBCD I was influenced to purchase the Voyager model thinking it would be similar in quality with a few additional features useful for traveling but at a smaller size. Unfortunately the Voyager model uses thinner cheap feeling material and buckles. The buckles on my Voyager are showing signs of stress (crazes) after only light use. The design is also poor: The main compartment cannot be fully opened when the backpack straps are attached; the straps are, in my opinion, on the wrong side; there is no way to attach a traditional duffel bag strap (although a single backpack strap can be used to carry the bag sling style); and the shoe compartment is too small to fit shoes (US men's 9-10). The Voyager seems like a cheap knockoff of the real Base Camp Duffel. When I purchased the Voyager the XS Base Camp Duffel was not available, but were I to do this again I'd get the XS, and forego the Voyager's additional features.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this bag, so I was extremely disappointed when the back pack strap buckle was broken when I unboxed it. I would have returned it for a new bag, but the remaining buckle looked cheap and flimsy. I didn't want to risk it also breaking while I was on a trip and being stuck with no way to carry the bag on my back. North Face should upgrade these buckles or find another way to attach the straps.

Bad design. It states that it has a 15" laptop zippered sleeve. My laptop is 14.25" and it does not fit. Was there any testing at all? 1" additional inch on the zipper, or a zipper around each corner would have done the trick.
