Perfect sandals. Worth the money because they last for years.

Bought these for my husband and he really likes them. He uses them on hikes in summer to walk creeks. Takes some time to break it and is wearing hiking socks until they are broken in. I would recommend these.

I like this style of sandal, I don't know about you but my gait walks me right out of flip flop sandals and this design stays on the feet much better. I believe the part around the ankle is helpful too. Seems to be both functional and practical. Here in South Texas some of the thinner sole shoes are too thin, our pavement gets quite hot, and literally I have some pairs of shoes where your feet feel the burn right through the shoes- these are thick enough to withstand that intensity. Although on all sandals the life here is a bit shorter because of that intense heat, if you live someplace with more "normal" temperatures these will last you and likely meet your expectations. The semi-tropics and asphalt jungle design of our cities is hard on shoes, but on the bright side I just ate my first home grown pineapple this week (and that takes about 4 years to grow from the top of the one you buy)

The sandals were just what I expected and had been looking for.

This is my second pair of this river sandal and the newest one is an improvement on the previous version as it is even more cushioned. My one complaint is that the velcro does not reach down the side as much as it should for the strap to lay completely flat. This has not yet impacted the functionality of the product though, so not a major concern.

This is the second pair of these I have owned. The first pair has lasted at least ten years and Im still wearing them! I use them as beachwear and they have really been great. I bought this pair to make sure I have a long term replacement! A great product.
