Boot was very comfortable, but the shaft was about one inch too high. The zipper is the deal breaker. Awful zipper! So rough and sticky. Nearly ripped the leather tab off trying to get the zipper to move, particularly around the ankle.

Nice leather, ordered wide but they aren’t really that wide, so had to stretch them a bit! Definitely needed an arch insert… especially if you’re doing a lot of walking! The leather is very soft, but the shaft is a about 1.5-2” too high for me (I’m 5’ 5”), I was able to deal with the shaft height due to the soft leather they’re made from. But, they do hit me in the back of the knees. Also, I could do without the little loops on each side of the top of the shafts, they really aren’t useful and in my opinion take away from the overall sleekness of the boot! They’re cloth loops so I may just cut them off eventually! Overall a nice boot, but not as comfortable for me as the Sofft boots are. Oh, and as stated in other comments, the zipper does stick a bit from the bottom of the heel to the ankle, so be careful when zipping them up!

I like the boots, they fit my legs, i ordered the wide so they can fit my legs better and they did. the shoe part is a little wide but that is okay i wear socks sometime i will buy again if i had to. to zip the boots i had to stand up and they zipped right on up. never had boots zipped in the back before. always buy a 1/2 size larger that you normal shoe sizes if you wants to be comfortable.

Leather material of the upper and shaft is thick and feels quality. Zipper sticks, can be difficult to pull up or down. Boot shaft height is really high and bumps into my knee caps when I walk (I'm 5'5). I like the way they look apart from functional flaws, especially the stitching that mimics a goodyear welt (thought I wish it were the real thing). Sending back because they don't fit. I ordered a size 7.5W, my usual, and it is too small and too narrow for me.

Comfortable with the first wear! I love the look, the style and feel of this boot and the shaft was perfect…not too loose or too tight and I also love the height of the boot. They were exactly what I was looking for.

I simply loved these boots however I had to return them. I am only 5'3 and the boots came well over my knee almost to my thigh which then the would not zip being a short-legged person sometimes stinks.

Beautiful boot, however it comes well over the knee. If that will bother you beware.

These boots are very tall; but for my long legs, it isn’t a problem. I wore them around the house for quite some time but decided that I didn’t really need them. (I live out of a suitcase so am limited in how many shoes I carry). However, I would say they are comfortable…maybe not walk around a flee market all day comfortable…but stylish enough to be worn to church, out to lunch, etc.

The zipper didn’t work. The boot would not zip no matter how hard I tried or what I did. Very Disappointing.

I thought it was going to be wide in the toe box, not wide in the calf, just sharing in case that's what you thought too.... I have wide feet and skinny legs so it had to go back. Hahaha.

Cute boots. Comfortable and true to size. They did come up a little higher than expected. I’m 5’5 and they hit mid knee on me.

The boots are beautiful, and they are easy to put on and walk around in. Unfortunately, the top of the shaft hits my knee and makes it kind of weird to walk around. If you are taller than 5'4", you might have better luck with these boots than I did.

I wanted to love these boots. But there was not enough room for the front of my foot. I didn’t like how my toes felt pinched.

Too wide at top

I love these boots, but the long zipper at the back is very difficult to use.. It sticks toward the heel on both boots. I would not be able to deal with the zippers.. Too bad.. super cute and nice leather.

These are very pretty boots. The color is nice, the leather is high quality, and the style is classic and well-executed. Unfortunately, the shaft is too tall and hits the back of my knees, especially going up and down stairs (I'm 5'3" and tried on a size 7). The top of the boot is also wider than I would like, but I have skinny calves. The zipper stuck in the back, as other reviews have noted.

Tried these in 2 sizes, but back zipper basically, unzippable. Would barely go over the heel. Toe are super stiff. Bott itself cute, fit narrow and tight and zipper to difficult Returned

NOT WIDE CALF. Love Franco Sarto but these fit absolutely nowhere - too wide, too long, and not wide enough in the calf.
