I've always wanted a hat like this! I really hope North Face continues to update this product overtime. I get a lot of great uses out of it!

Sun hat

Love the hat. Very stylish and fear protection from the sun. Would buy again for self out as a gift.

Cute hat but not as nice quality as expected. Seems a bit flimsy.

Material isn't what I expected. But it's very light and easy to fold up.

I work in the sun, and this hat is comfortable, and protects my scalp.

I love the look of this hat, and (in theory) the functionality. However, the hat is basically a sail and any wind that catches it causes it to fly off my head or, if it manages to stay on during a gust, I end up getting choked by the deeply uncomfortable elastic strap. I do love that it tucks down into a pouch (not attached to the hat, so don't lose it) and keeps the sun off my face, so it does have that going for it.

The wire brim is a little weird

I don't know how to put the hat in to the pouch it's too difficult

Hat has a bad design flaw. The brim is super-lightweight with a spring wire to allow for the twisting/stowage. It flaps up in the slightest breeze, so it looks like Gomer Pyle and doesn't keep sun out of your eyes. If it's gusty the brim flaps up/down so the light is flashing in your eyes. tNF was awesome and refunded the full price no problem, that was nice. But hat is a bust... sorry.

I'm sure it's a nice hat for someone - just not me. I ordered the black...and it looked like a witch's hat on me (minus the pointy top, it was horrifyingly similar) and as I'm sure you may have guessed, I returned it. Brim too wide and rigid. I really hated the hat on me. Another color would have killed the witch vibe but it was overall just wrong on me. I'm sorry.
