I've broken in about 20 steep miles on these. Really protective, dynamic shoe. Rocker heel w/ good momentum and cushion. Expect some break in, the heel laminate is stiff, toes might need to adapt to the roll of the heel. Shoe moves a lot different than normal drop trail runners (except maybe Hokas). Really durable with good toe guard and structure. Grippy lugs. Fiesta red is actual neon coral, which I prefer. Works well for my foot (long, high arch, narrow heel). Good heel lock, still roomy for wider feet. Might not work for flat feet or bunions, it has a real "rail" feel in the side structure. Overall I'm impressed. Improve: laces are ribbony, would like a little less pronation (tends to roll towards pigeon toe when walking, not noticeable at running pace). Toe drop could stand to have a few more mm of foam, getting a little toe fatigue compared to Brooks. The heel coating is maybe a little too much, they don't really "turn on a dime", but I prefer a structured shoe that can take some rocks over a cozy ride that turns to mush immediately. Maybe trim some keyholes out of the heel overlay in the next version? I've seen people complaining about the tongue gusset being unstitched, but it's not an issue for me on a high arch. Excited to see how this line improves in future versions.

I got these to run my first trail half marathon this summer. I am a heel striker with a high arch and wanted something with a lot of cushion and a "hybrid" outsole that will do well on roads and trails. As soon as I put this shoe on, I knew it was meant to be. I have narrow feet, but like some room in the toe box, and these check that box. Even with the amount of cushion, I don't feel unstable on the trails. The only thing I would change is the shape of the collar at the ankle. I get swelling in my left ankle, and would love to have more of a cut-out at the outer ankles. Would also love to see some different color ways.

I wanted to get off the treadmill and sidewalk and get on the trails. I was looking for a lightweight, trail running shoe with good instep support. These fit the bill perfectly. I have tried Hoka One One, Asics, and Saucony for other running, but these fit out of the box better than the others. I'm getting a second pair.

I walk an average of 5 miles each day an these shoes are great. My walking surface is a mix concrete, gravel and dirt. The VECTIV provides great support without being too clunky.

I love these sneakers for walking. They are very comfortable yet supportive and light weight. The design of the rolling arch propels the foot forward making it very easy to walk prolonged distances.

I bought these from a local running shop. Initially went in because the Hoka I just purchased was just not working out. They were too wide for my narrow foot so when trail running especially on the downhill my foot would slide forward and my toes would rub on the front of the shoe. I was shown these shoes and they worked great. I'm a hardcore trail runner running 30-40 miles a week and these shoes have worked great. The down side has been that the sole does wear down quicker than other shoes, but hey I've been beating these up with the miles and terrain I keep. I'm going to try all their shoes now.

I'm not a runner, but I do love to go on long walks on gravel paths. These shoes are perfect. I actually feel like I could walk miles and miles every day in these. I tried these and the Women's VECTIV Enduris II and these are MUCH better. The II's had a weird crinkle in the middle but these fit like a glove.

I discovered this shoe from a local retailer last summer when I was looking for something with a higher drop to prevent another achilles tendon injury. They suggested this model and believed that North Face had again begun to make a great rail shoe. As soon as I slipped them on and did a trial run outside around the shop, I was hooked! Cushion love at first sight! I loved everything about this shoe - the fit, color, comfort, tread, traction - you name it! I had FOUND THE SHOE I had been looking for!! It worked great and I hit the 500 mile mark until I began to feel I needed a new pair. I ordered the new year in a blue color but found them to be just slightly different. A little bigger with small gaps in areas of the shoe I just couldn't get used to. I sent them back and ordered the same year, different color. Fiesta red. I think I miss my old color - the grey, and maybe this new color makes me feel a bit like I am running the 90's but.....the important thing is they once again feel amazing like the first time I tried them on almost a year ago. Great customer service, fast delivery.

I use the shoes for walking primarily, though a little hiking, too. I really love them for a long day in the kitchen. No back ache, no leg aches. The Best.

I use these wonderfully colored Vectiv Enduris for the long 12-hour shifts that I work as a registered nurse. Most of my shift is spent on my feet! I put these on and can "endure" 12 hours on my feet. I just love the fit and am so happy to have them on my feet. Let's say my feet are so comfortable they feel like they are cushioned just right. Oh, thank you for making such a wonderful opportunity for a lucky nurse like me!!

I ran 1,040 miles this year- over half trails. This was my go to trail shoe. I am in my second pair. They are light, sturdy, fast and have great grip. I've run on trails in mud, sleet, rain and snow in them. I've raced in them and hike in them. I love them. And immediately bought a second pair when my first wore out.

Great pair of shoes! Love the feel and look. Only downfall I see is the back of the shoes collapse when you put your heel in.

I bought the VECTIV because my daughter- a Physical Therapist and high school volleyball coach told me to try them. She hit the bulls eye. Comfort, support, and good quality. It's a win!

I have to admit that I was somewhat...(okay, very) sceptical about trying a North Face trail running show again. I have tried some previous attempts at a trail running shoe by them, only to find that I was sorely (literally) disappointed. The reason for the pain and disappointment, came from the fact that the previous versions of trail running shoes that North Face released, were mostly just hiking shoes...NOT really running shoes. And there IS a difference. But North Face seems to have realized the error of their ways and went back to the drawing board...and what a gloriuos success of trail running shoe!!!! I absolutely LOVE this shoe! I have gone from a person that regularly swaps my shoes out in-between runs...but find myself coming back to the VECTIV every...single...day! After years of running and trying to find the perfect shoe...I think I finally have! Thanks North Face!!!! PS....My husband bought the men's version and feels exactly the same!!! :)
