The upper of the sneaker looks great and the tongue is comfortable on the top of your foot. However, the sole of the sneaker is not the best and sort of stiff with a plastic-y feel.

Love the look, however fits too small. completely bummed. I've had these before and they fit great,
I'm not sure what has changed. Size up people

I've been wearing the various iterations of the Jazz for a long time. Last pair were Jazz low pro until they finally kicked the bucket. Friends, if you too have been buying the Jazz for many years, I'm sorry to say these new 81s are not the same. The insole is cheap, offers almost no arch support. They are narrower, the platform sole is thicker and honestly a bit wobbly. The tongue is not padded and no matter how I tie the laces, puts uncomfortable pressure onto my instep in a way that no Saucony shoe ever has. Now they're all unisex, which is stupid because female feet are often structurally a bit different than male feet. All to say these are very disappointing changes made to a previously delightful shoe. I put so many miles on my old pair and even as beat up as they are, still more comfortable than these. If you are looking for an equivalent to what you used to buy, I think they may have rebranded and the DXN trainers are what closer to what the old ones were.

Saucony JAZZ used to be a perfect fit for me. Somewhere over the last few years I've noticed they're (1) HARD TO FIND, (2) narrower than they used to be on one foot. Go figure. And I've tried multiple pairs and run into the same situation of right foot fit being too tight. So I tried other Saucony models, like JAZZ 81 and Shadow, and found exactly the same problem - right foot was too tight and not wearable for that reason only. Looks like I'll have to experiment with other brands altogether. Saucony, it was great while it lasted!
I'd also recommend:
I've worn Saucony Jazz exclusively for over 15 years.

I like this style of this brand name sneakers and I want know if these sneakers are waterproof or snowproof and if they are warm enough to use on winter times that if it keeps you feet warm with socks or with no socks on because there are sneakers from a different brand name that are not warm enough to wear on winter times

I've had multiple pairs of these over the last 20+ years with my last pair purchased in 2017. I bought a new pair recently and noticed some changes that are downgrades from the originals I was used to. First the slick fabric hanged from a smooth material to a more textured woven looking fabric, the tongue is no longer padded at all, the insole is more of a thin liner vs an actual insole with padding, and the sizing changed (I ordered my usual 8.5 only to find they were too small).
Still a great shoe but why change a classic for the worse?

Love the fit of the sneak but the black bleeds on to the purple not sure if I should put in the washing machine. I tried to use a toothbrush but didn't work that well

This shoe ran really big. I wanted to like them and I've had this shoe before.

Way too small! I followed the recommendation from the website and increased my size but it is not enough

So disappointed. I have been a big fan of Saucony Jazz for years and have probably bought at least 30 pairs. They were so comfy. These Jazz 81s are not the same. While keeping the style I loved it was like walking on rocks. Sad face.

i first bought a pair of these in 2010. they lasted me around 5 years. incredible shoes. then sometime around 2015-2016 i bought a new pair, the threading around the big toe came lose within a year, the same thing happened to my next two pairs. these are my favourite shoe, so i keep buying them in hopes that you've fixed this issue. please look into this.

These were such a huge disappointment. They fit wonderfully but I've walked through the soles of both shoes in less than four months. I can't afford to replace walking shoes three times a year.

This is a horrible restyling of the original Al Jazz. Whichever design team/marketing member is shoving this crap down our throats needs to be fired. NOBODY prefers this remake to the original. Keep producing the ORIGINAL JAZZ and stop trying to reinvent the wheel! The unisex 81 sucks.

What happened? Jazz used to be comfortable and the Saucony label was subtle on the back. No arch support, very uncomfortable, I cannot wear these as they actually hurt my feet, cushioning is gone as well. Saucony was my go to for casual wear, no more. :(

I've been wearing Saucony Jazz since 1996. This new "81" version is TERRIBLE!!! The heal has less support, the toe box is too tight, and the mesh is awful looking. Also the tongue is too thin. WHY DID YOU MAKE THESE CHANGES?! And for twice the price? Major downgrade. Saucony, read the room, loyal customers for years are super disappointed in this crappier versio. Of what was once a uniquely excellent shoe. Now it's just some "onitsuka tiger" retro piece of junk. Tight and uncomfortable. MAKE THE ORIGINAL.

I have been wearing Jazz for many years now.
These new Jazz 81s are made so cheaply. They are very uncomfortable. The tongue is made cheaply there is less cushion in the heal.
Thinking of trying out New Balance.

I purchased a pair of Jazz 81 last year and thought they would be my go to shoe; however, these are so uncomfortable I returned them. This pair was only available in unisex, last pair was womens. Quality and sizing is definitely off.

Twelve hours after receiving these shoes, the black dye has bled all over the pink fabric. Completely unacceptable and very disappointing.

These are not the same quality as the ones I bought a few years ago. The tongue is super thin and sewed in a way that twists when you wear the shoe. The sole is not as cushy as before. I am so disappointed. These went back immediately.

Biggest mistake was to discontinue saucony Jazz originals and suggest these instead. They may look the same, but the toe box is smaller and the size is off. Unisex for clothes yes. Shoes? Never!

Great fit. The material felt thin, but was still durable. I still wear these shoes, over two years later.
