Got this model Xodus recently, bought 1/2 size up. Very comfortable for rugged hill hikes. Wish there were more colors. Please, please do not phase out Xodus. It is the best hiking shoe you have. I have Plantar's Fasciitis and bad knees and this is the best shoe of all for those problems. Always a nice comfortable toe box and a firm sole for rocks and roots. I do 4-5 miles almost every day during all seasons .

I have loved this shoe for my morning hikes. I am sad that on this pair and several others the pad collar at the top of the shoe has ripped.

Comfortable, cushioned, and great traction & stability for trail walking with my dog. The best thing for me is the 4mm offset which keeps my weight more evenly distributed and less pain in the front of my feet and toes!

An oooh-aaah comfortable shoe. Fabulous padding around the ankles, and plenty of toe room. But unfortunately they are not water or dust resistant. I wish Saucony would make more GTX styles!

I was excited to try the Xodus. The reviews sounded like exactly what I was looking for - a sturdy shoe for mixed use, trail running/walking. The footbed and forefoot feel amazing, and I love the look of the shoe. But the heel and ankle are too stiff for me. The collars rub and irritate the inside of my ankles no matter how loosely I lace them. Based on the reviews they certainly work for most people, I must have sensitive ankles! Sadly I'll need to return them, luckily the return process is easy.

The reason I'm hesitating on a 5 star rating is because they are heavy... and although with each release they're getting lighter, I wish they would bring it down a bit more. But regardless, these shoes are made for the long haul trail runs on any terrain. So glad Saucony continues investing in this shoe

Saucony has been my go to sneaker. Now they changed the style so I had to return 2 pair. The top is too stiff, the toe area too narrow. Sadly I will have to try another brand.

My podiatrist recommended these for ankle stabilityI sprained my ankle on my 5th wear
They're bouncy and comfy in the soles but the top of my foot would get sore if I left them on for long periods
I found the ankle structure good for keeping my ankle still but the edge of the shoe/rise made me feel a little more unstable somehow and finally it did a full grade two twist when I was getting out of the car
I'll be on crutches for nine weeks so don't have very fond feelings for these shoes

Nice shoe but it digs into the back of my achilles causing blisters.

Why on God's green earth would you make a sneaker that cuts in so far on the midfoot??? It felt like that part was sitting on a ledge. Love the look of the sneaker, but I just couldn't get used to that ledge feeling. Plus it's way too heavy. These were returned.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE MAD RIVER TR 2!! Just add a touch more padding while retaining it's grippiness and responsiveness and you all will have made the best trail shoe ever! I'm now trying the Hoka Speedgoat 5 and I'd take a new and improved Mad River over the 'Goat. Thanks.
