Of all of the different running shoes that I have used my pair of Sauconys are my favorite. So, I decided to get a waterproof set of trail running shoes. These shoes are very comfortable, keep my feet dry, and look sporty and fun.

These are the best sneakers I've ever owned! They are warm, I've worn them in 30 degree weather, no problem. Yet my feet don't get too hot inside. Plus, I've worn them in the rain, and my feet don't get wet. Comfortable, good fit.

I'm not a huge trail runner, more of a walker but these were bought specifically for my trip to South Dakota and Wyoming. I wasn't running all over the place but they were perfect for the little bit of hiking we did before changing in to our climbing shoes at Devil's Tower and the walk/hike we did to the highest point in SD. Comfortable and supportive.

Bought for my husband. Replaced a hiker shoe by Merrell and he loves them. Said that the comfort is way better than the others.

Comfortable, water resistant, no break-in time needed. So happy with this purchase for long walks in any weather condition.

Less cushion than I'm used to in my other Saucony sneakers but they are regular running sneakers so maybe that's the difference. Would love a bit more cushion and arch support but overall average comfort level and good looking, well-made sneaker.

I bought these(in size 12) along with the Kinara 12's(in size 11.5).
the Excursion's were tight in a 12, the Kinara 12's in 11.5 were perfect with good arch support!

I wear a size 8 but this shoe fits like a 7-1/2. Definitely get a size up. I gave it a chance with walks and runs totaling 6 miles, but the shoe crowded my toes and one made my foot supinate, which tweaked my knee. By then Saucony wouldn't take back the shoes because they'd been used. This shoe doesn't measure up, a shame because I wanted a Gore-Tex shoe. I recommend the Canyon TR; though not Gore-Tex, it has a larger toe box and the fit I expect from a Saucony product.

I've owned many pairs if Saucony trailing running shoes. These not only felt cheap but the size I always wear was too small. So I had to pay shipping to send them back...not that happy with the change in quality, sizing.

I bought last year's model, but they seem similar. I like the durability, especially the tread. I like the waterproof feature, affordability for GTX. I like the amount of cushioning and weight. This is a versatile shoe. The problem is that the forefoot shape clips the pinky toe. It needs to have a more rounded toe box to be usable on the trail.

Maybe it is a peculiarity of my feet or gait, but these KILL my feet!!!
Not my first Saucony shoes, but my first experience with this issue.

They are soso, they feel pretty clunky on my feet and not tons of arch support. I keep tripping on the rugs in them. I am not crazy about the design either. I most likely will not purchase these again. It's a bummer.

I got these shoes for my daughter for back to school in September and they are already in very poor condition. Very poorly made shoes

I bought these because I am a huge fan of the original excursion. Having a pair made of gore tex was icing on the cake. Unfortunately they've changed the design of the shoe for the gore tex and moved the arch support towards the back of the shoe. Now I can no longer wear them because they actually hurt me. Which is extremely disappointing because I wear a 12 and saucony was one of the few places I could find shoes. Now I have to find someplace else.
If you like the original excursion don't buy these.
