Thanks for suggesting a half size larger. Larger size fits perfectly

On to my second pair of the Canyons. These are by far my favorite trail-road-trail shoe. Roomy toe box, comfortable from toe to heel.

I love these shoes. Great for street or trail. Amazing grip! Have tested them in some wet and mucky conditions on hiking trails and very little to no slippage. Comfortable too.

I've been running in Saucony shoes for 25 years, usually the Triumph or the Ride. This is my first time with the Canyon Trail and it didn't disappoint. Very comfortable. This shoe is supposed to be good in slippery weather, which hasn't occurred yet here in metro Detroit, but based on how the shoes feel I think they will be helpful in keeping me from slipping and sliding.

Incredible shoes for hiking, great grip and wide enough toe box. Am incredibly impressed with the comfort, wore them out-of-the box for a three hour hike on rough terrain without breaking them in and they were perfect. The design and colors are a nice change of pace as well.

I do some trail running on the weekends but once winter hit this year, I decided to pull the trigger on a pair of trail shoes to see if they would actually help in the snow and ice in Boston. Let me tell ya....THEY ARE MAGICAL. Amazing traction and great colors too might I add. If I slip, it's a little one and I'm definitely not hitting the ground with my body. Greatest winter purchase I made. And I'm excited to try them out for my trail runs this spring/summer!

This shoe allows plenty of toe room as I walk ... I've enjoyed them straight out of the box.

great winter shoes, good tread for prevention of slipping on the ice while still being fairly lightweight.

This is my 4th pair of the Canyon TR. It is my go to shoe for transitioning between road and trail.

Great shoe - very responsive - 8mm drop is consistent with street shoes - unlike most trail shoes are 4mm. Great crossover shoe - road to trail to road - very much like most urban running a mixture of natural and man made services. This shoe transitions seamlessly.

Like all saucony sneakers I did not have to break them in. They were comfortable from the very first wearing. I also love the way they look on the foot. They are over a year old and still look good shape.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are an excellent hybrid of road/trail shoe- enough cushioning, light, and grippy soles. Unfortunately, after about 1 mile or so once my feet warm-up (and consequently swell), they start to feel constricting and not breathable. Even with the laces loosened a bit, they feel just slightly too narrow. I wish Saucony made them in a wide version because I'd 100% buy!

They're a good shoe.. maybe just not for my feet. I had trained for and ran a 100 mile race in the xodus, and I loved those shoes!! The comfort was 200%, except they were a little heavy and the heel/toe drop wrecked my Achilles (coming off brooks ghost). So I got these with with a better h/t drop and weight.. but they seem narrow and stiff. I still have lots of time to change my mind.. but the comfort just isn't there for me.

I was looking for a trail show that would also be good on roads (treadmill). I wanted something to switch out with as soon as spring hit and the snow melts off trails. A shoe that would hold strong on trail but smooth on road surfaces. These are a great color pick - I got the teal and comfortable as soon as I put them on. I didn't give the full star rating, only because my feet get a big tingly on the treadmill (need to play around with the loosening of laces and socks) but I am anxious to try them on road once we have the snow and ice clear off. Love the quick shipping and trail sticker in the box every time!

I like that this shoe is marketed as a trail and road shoe, inevitably I will run on both surfaces in a single run. Out of the box I wore the Canyon on a 13 mile trail run. It was a sunny, 73 day. The fit was very comfortable, the shoe is light weight and the material 'breathe able'.

I pretty much only wear Saucony and love their trail shoes for road or trail. This is my first time wearing the Canyon. My foot shape has a wide toe box but narrow around the middle. The Canyons arena little snug around the wide part of my foot. I can fix the feeling with the laces. They are sturdy yet cushiony so allows for soft impact when running on the road. Overall, this is a good shoe.

A good option for running in the snow if you live in a city that doesn't get much snow and/or is usually plowed and you don't suffer from cold feet. I live in Kingston and trail shoes with heavy grip like the Pergrine is overkill for me. I need some grip without feeling like I have cement on my feet once I hit bare pavement. These are exactly what I have been looking for. Fit is very similar to the Ride. They are still a little clunky on bare pavement but they provide a good balance.

I have very thin feet, I do wear a double A width but these are tight on me, I can see why others are having a tight fit. If you need a AAA then get these . otherwise stay clear

The shoes are built well. Love the bottom with the grip texture. I love the color, but they are too narrow for my feet. I had purchased a wide in my previous pair, and they fit pretty good. Just a little big. So I figured I would try the regular fit. It is a lot of money to spend on shoes that hurt your feet. I wore them to work and had to take them off and put my old ones on. The bummer is the wides are all in ugly colors. Hoping these shoes stretch out so I can actually wear them.

A little narrow in the front. Plenty of room for toes but something is a little snug causing pins and needles

I wanted to love this shoe so much because a road/trail shoe is the perfect thing for the area in which I run regularly but they were just too narrow in the toe box for me. I don't technically have a wide foot but it just was too snug for my comfort. Otherwise I loved the design, colors, etc, just knew it wouldn't be a comfortable fit for me unfortunately. I have been buying Triumphs and those work much better, just wish they had a more trail-like tread for the times I'm on the gravel trail where I live.
