I have now had this shoe for over a year. It's one of the most versatile shoes I own. The waterproofing is much better than some of the other companies. It's not as cushioned as some other shoes but provides good stability on uneven terrain. Fits a little tighter but I swap out my thicker socks when I plan to put this on.

Good shoes! Roomy toe box, and sturdy. I beat shoes up, and these have lasted well, including through training and running a triathlon

I say perfect fit but i’ve worn saucony over 40 years and know they run small about 1/2 size compared to my other shoes. That is i buy saucony 1/2 size bigger than my non-running shoes.

This is a comfortable shoe that gets you through the tough spots. It has a good grip on loose ground.

Started wearing Ride 9's 3 years past on the recommendation of my Physical Therapist. It helped immensely with lower back pain. Seems the Ride 9 is not available so I chose the TR 14. It has superior grip, excellent toe box room and wears well. Out of the box 7.5 mile hike and the show felt fine. This is not my daily wear shoe. I still have several Ride 9's for that.

As a trail running shoes go, these are very light. Comfortable. Fit well. And the best part? Dry feet.

Excellent for winter. Use them walking everyday regardless of snow or rain my feet keep dry and the traction is good. Loved them so much I bought a pair in the new color combo. These are my go to unless there's a lot of snow.

First Saucony shoe, best decision ever. Needed a waterproof walker/jogger for Michigan 3-seasons, have used in moderate snow and mush 25-35 degrees with zero issues. Comfortable, warm, supportive and waterproof. Dog park, hustling around the block or around town, all dry and happy. .

These shoes are some of the sturdiest, longest lasting shoes that I have found.

I've worn Saucony fas trainers and for running shoes for decades now; the Excusrion is a worthy mid-priced successor to all the previous shoes.

Comfortable. True to size. Good support. Haven't had them out in the dirty rough terrain yet so don't know how well they will keep my feet dry.

Personally I wouldn't run much in this shoe. It lacks the structure or support I would like in a running shoe. But I use them for daily casual wear during the winter.

Buying online without trying on a new pair of shoes can be tricky. The "Men's Excursion TR14 GTX" (S20588-1) shoes were bought as a replacement for an earlier model (TR12 GTX - S20453-1). The new shoes were supposedly equivalent to the old shoes, which I greatly liked. The upper portion of the new pair of shoes fits perfectly, and is comfortable. However, there's something different about the soles. The soles of the new shoes appear to be made of a harder, less shock-absorbent material than the older pair. I always replace the original insoles of a new pair of shoes with the best gel insoles I can buy, for I do a lot of walking on concrete and asphalt pavements, and need the extra cushioning. I wasn't able to leave the factory-made insoles in place, beneath the gel insoles, for the gel insoles wouldn't fit comfortably into the shoes. So, now I'm stuck with a new pair of shoes that are uncomfortable to walk on. With each step I can distinctly feel the hard treads of the soles of the new shoes, even when I'm walking on carpeting. Why can't manufacturers stop changing that which was good for something which is inferior?
