Have only tried these on the road and on smooth flat trails but they have been very comfortable on both. Will update once I have a chance to try them on more technical trails and put more miles on them.

This shoe is surprisingly comfortable, excellent for long days on my feet, and great for running flat, unobstructed trails, but its sole is much too soft and flexible for any rugged trails. Maybe perfect for running pacific-northwest trails, but for colorado and utah trails it is like wearing a slipper in a rock grinder. However, if they put the carbon plate from the Endorphin Pro into this shoe, that would be an incredibly fast, durable, and supportive shoe for all trails!

I bought the Canyon to serve as a crossover between road and trail, as advertised. The shoe is a comfy ride on dirt - I like a little more traction for trail but this is great for smooth routes. I wouldn't wear them all the time on road, as my feet do get a little tired with this shoe as compared to a road specific. Quality and color are great - I always like the loop for my laces.

Great all around trainers. Super traction even in snow.

Runs well as they begin to break in, as I found it alittle high on the ankles at first. Most runs are about 7 miles with a weekly 13 miler thrown in. No real traction in deeper mud, snow, sleet, soft earth. Otherwise these are working for me on a mix of concrete, asphalt, mud, snow, gravel that I run on regularly.

great easy trail shoe, fits just like the Ride 13 (winner!) but with added traction awesome looks, glad I waited for this instead of getting the peregrine which is a little more intense than I needed

works well in all conditions on the trails. a bit stiff in flex. this is not a road shoe by any means but needed 30/70 road/trail shoe. A good hybrid choice if your looking in that direction.

6 mile run on the road, worked great (8 out of 10). 8 mile run on the beach, (7.5 out of 10). 1/2 marathon trail run (8.5 out of 10). Very nibble in rocky terrain and glided smoothly on sandy beach. Really comfortable shoe to just wear casually too.

Too narrow on the pinky toe. I like the mad river trail a lot better.

Very capable crossover, good comfort and support. The outsole wore very quickly; down to the midsole after only 200-225 miles.

Running over 60 miles a week on trails this was not the shoe. All around foot pain within the first mile. Tried to give a few more miles but no improvement.

These shoes are like wearing lead blocks on your feet & they haven't held up at all. Poor quality.
