Small toes on both feet were pinched; had to return. I typically wear US-sized 15s (which fit well, if a little big; I can sometimes squeeze into a larger-fitting 14), which surprised me that these were too small. Nice shoe, bummed I had to send them back.

The width narrows too quickly toward the toe. There is enough room for my duck feet at the balls but the toes are scrunched. This design makes the shoe much more aesthetically pleasing, being more pointed, but renders the extra width useless for me. If I had small toes to go with my wide feet, it would be okay.

The fit is nice and the shoes are comfortable.

I get a 3E in Brooks and that's fine. This 3E felt narrow.

A little more narrow than a 5E should be but comfortable for my EE-EEE foot

Very nice shoes, but toe box quite large enough. I wear a 9.5 5x, which this is, but it did not feel like it. However, other than size, the shoes are very high quality.

My husband needed a water-resistant sneaker for riding his bike. He likes these a lot, but they are a little heavy and I don't find them all that attractive. I'm not wearing them, so it doesn't really matter! He says they are comfortable and, while they're a wide width, they don't look really wide. He wears a 9W in a shoe, but I ordered a 9.5W in these and they fit well.

While this shoe worked size-wise, it is very heavy. I should have paid more attention to the weight. My husband needs a lightweight walking shoe as he has "foot drop" in one leg when he gets tired. Weight aggravates it.

I am 5'11" 280 pounds and have several Prophet shoes..all 13 5E they are all lightweight daily work shoes...or light duty shoes..I have one pair of joggers.. and they run very narrow..I only wear them to the gym as they are too tight in the toe box to wear very long... the Vercors were bought to be a work shoe which need to be sturdy which these are they are very stiff ..not lightweight..however they are really narrow and shallow in the toe box.. I have found most companies are making their wide shoes narrow and shallow in the toe box area and they pinch the toes and rub on the top of the toes if they had a deeper toe box and were a 1/4 inch wider they would fit and be a good shoe..however they do not..so I will be sending these back as a hiking shoe that is tight and pinches the toes at the start of the day will never do...

Hard to imagine that the actual size of the shoe bears any relationship to the advertised size of the shoe. The stitching clearly states the shoe is a 9 W (3E), but I could barely get it on.

Toe box is stiff and not as wide as other Propet styles. I have purchased several pairs of 13-5e and these felt like a size down and a 2e width.
