Nice shoe but felt a bit too wide.

I went through 10 pairs of loafers trying to find a pair that worked with my orthotic. These don't have insoles meant to be removed, I did it anyway. I tested them out first, putting in my orthotic on top of the insole and was joyous to find that these were wide enough for my orthotic across the arch/midfoot. So I carefully removed the insoles and found the footbed perfect- flat and flexible/solid- for my orthotic. I am so happy to find something that looks nice and works with my orthotic. I am a true 8 wide and these work for me.

I wear a 8 medium. I wanted to try a shoe that was a little wider than a B width so I bought the 8C. The 8C was about a half a size larger than a regular size 8 shoe that I am used to. Next order was a 7 1/2 C. The shoes felt snug with not a lot of room for the toes and the C width did not hold my foot in place in the shoes. Next order was the 7 1/2 B. Over all the shoes was to tight and I sent them back. I really wanted to like this shoe since they have no defined arch support.

Like these a lot. I have wide feet so ordered the W, however it's almost a little too wide. If they stretch at all I'm afraid they'll be too big. Returning and will try the M width.

I’m usually an 8.5-9 & the 8.5 I ordered was big & had to return & exchange to a size 8. Other than that it feels nice even with little support. I also would like to mention how GREAT Zappos’ service is. They never disappoint !

The front of the shoe was too narrow and squeezed my toes.

I have these shoes in 2 other colors. I feel that they do run large. I usually take a 7 but in these I can wear a 6/12. I actually ordered a 7 and they are a little big but I can stick a heel pad in them. I love some of the Aerosoles shoes but I do not like doing business with Aerosoles. They price their shoes according to color, they charge for shipping and returns. I would much rather do business with Zappos because they have the shoes you are looking for, are easy to work with and do not charge shipping.

Ordered the olive color. Was surprised to see a camouflage print when they arrived. Mainly ordered to throw on as an easy alternative to tennis shoes. These will do but I was expecting something softer and cushier.

These are just what I wanted. Basic black loafer. They are very comfortable.

This feels like a C width, not a D width. Beautiful dark orange suede, but arrived with suede parts already rubbed off.

Lovely shoe, but it gaped open on the sides of my foot and slipped off my heel. The length was right, though, so I couldn't have gone any smaller.

The 8.5 was way too big , the 8 a bit tight, liked the shoe just didn’t work for me.

Great comfy shoe! Good for work and play, look great with slacks and jeans! So comfortable for all day wear.

This shoe is very nice in most ways its just that I seem to need a wider width and more toe room.

Never sure what size to order, as for me it all depends on how wide the shoe is cut. So the first one I got, a size 8C, was waaaaay to long. I got the 7C, and the length was good, but it is so wide at the heel and mid part of the foot that my foot would slip out, and yet not wide enough at the toe box, so I thought by the time that stretches out, the rest will be tooooo big. I'd try a regular width, but pretty sure the toe would be even narrower, then they would pinch. As someone who doesn't wear shoes a lot, my feet are SENSITIVE to pinching! It's too bad the toes are cut so narrow, while the back of the shoe being so wide - it is a nicely made shoe, beautiful pebbled leather and cool bottom. I was going to use them for driving, instead of the Havianas flip flops I always wear. I wish companies would make wide shoes wide where most feet are wide - the front of the foot! I can't wear Vibram's 10-fingers when I need easy slip-on-slip-off like for driving. Most people's feet are wider at the toes. And for sure, those who order a "wide" need them that way.

Great comfortable shoe for work... feet don’t hurt at end of day!

Just got these shoes to drive in, as I'm thinking the flip flops I mostly wear aren't the safest shoes to drive in. They feel like they're well made and will be really comfortable, but they are so big that I have to return them for a full size smaller, which I guess will still be roomy. I bought the 8 in the wide, because often a shoe will be too narrow for me and I'll need the bigger size. My sizing varies so much depending on the cut of the shoe, as my foot is wide at the toes - I go barefoot most of the time, or wear Havianas flip flops. I'm hoping the 7 wides will fit great, and am very grateful they don't look too much like my dear mother's shoes! I wasn't ready for old lady shoes :-)

I work at a company with a 'no open toe shoes' policy. I have a wide forefoot (but narrow ankle) and mortons neuroma so absolutely hate closed toe shoes. These are definitely a 'wide' wide so be aware they will be wide throughout the shoe, I tried the regular width as well, as thought these would end up slipping off, but ending up keeping the wides (for comparison I own several Naturalizer wides and this seems wider). I bought the tan nubcuck and it's like wearing house slippers so I'm happy : ) They ended up molding a bit to my heel so haven't had any issues with slippage. For me they have ended up being very useful and comfortable for work so I've ordered 2 more colors.

Back of the shoe too low- will cause blisters, so shoe will be returned. I prefer nice wrap around heel.

Well, I wanted to own the gold ones cause I just had a need for gold shoes for some reason. They arrived today and are definitely bigger than 8.5 shoes should be. They are also a little more grandma-like than I wanted them to be, but the sole is actually considered, which is different than most flats, although I for one would prefer more arch support (story of my life). The reviews that say the shoes are narrow are crazy. they're not narrow, in fact I wanted them narrower so they would stop doing the thing where the side of the shoe sort of folds outward when you bend your foot while walking. Hopefully the 8's will be better ? gonna return and get those instead.

Seemed very good quality unfortunately too wide for my narrow heel. I had to return.

The leather felt heavenly on my foot. There was something that made me feel like they wouldn’t hold up well. The sizing runs very large.

I am a wide. but the shoe's wide is way too much. if you are wide, choose regular/medium. or you will most likely have to exchange it, as I had. But the feel of the shoe, the look of it and comfort is the best!!!
