Nice shoes but run a bit small. I'd order a half size up.

Don't know it it is the sole design or just the wearer but I tend to trip down stairs on the, hitting the heel on the step I'm stepping down from.

This is a good shoe, looks nice, fit well; but I have issues with one of my knees. Axon rocks the foot and the rocking motion made it painful for me.
I'd also recommend:

This is my new favorite shoe for road running. I wish the soles lasted longer though. (They fall apart faster than some other brands do.)s

When I first tried them on they felt a little odd. Hard to describe but it almost feels like a there’s ledge from the ball of my foot towards the toes area. If I rock my foot forward then I can feel the toe area touch the ground. I will try the 30 day trial and decide if I get used to this feeling.

These are the shoes I literally forget I have on. They form to my feet perfectly and feel light and secure.

Bought these for work where I am on my feet 8 to 9 hours a day. Cushioning support feels great even at the end of the day.

The first run the shoes were a little heavier than what I am used to so it took some adjusting. Now my miles feel natural and I'm in love with the Axons.

I bought these to run in, but I have a hard time running in them. I tried to run in them once, but it was just too awkward, as they're higher and the soles are shaped so much different than any other shoes I've had. I've been wearing them for walking. I will probably try running in them again.

I was looking for a comparable shoe to the kivanas that I have and thought the cushion on these would be superior, but unfortunately they weren't as comfortable as I had hoped. I went back to the Kivana model :). Still love Saucony and have several pair and will continue to buy. The customer service and ease of the return was wonderful.

some people may like the way it forces me onto my toes and creates cramped space in the toe box, but I don't I wouldn't get these for anything else but short runs

Runs small and needs a bigger toe box. Expected more cushion on the ball of the foot

The fit definitely wasn't the same as my last pair, they ran slightly smaller. Not my favorite pair of Saucony - will be looking for something more comfortable before the start of peak season in winery world.

These felt very weird when trying them on. Almost like the sole was thicker in the mid foot so there wasn't much of a roll. More like you're forced to run on just the mid foot. I've tried running in them and they just don't work. They feel like I'm running uphill all the time even on flat land so they are a killer calf workout for me. I use them primarily for walking now. I have a neutral foot, high arches and am a forefoot striker when running.

Bought these because I own the Axon 2 and wanted another pair to run at work. Assumed they would be the same quality. I was wrong. Cheap materials, in particular the upper. Returned them.

Uncomfortable. Sole has no support. I expected it to be more bouncy and it was solid rock.

I've tried many runners and sauconys are the only brand my feet can run in. I wanted to try a thicker sole for my upcoming Half prep, so I bought the Axons. I walked in them and they felt fine. But when I took them for a spin, it was the most uncomfortable 5k I've ever run. I was paranoid that people would stare because I felt like I was running in clunky clown shows (they didn't sound graceful on impact) and I had to take a week off running while my calves and arches recovered. I have a neutral foot and am a mid-foot striker now. I thought the thicker sole would be beneficial, but I'll have to stick with my Clarion 2's for now.

I was looking for another running shoe to rotate in my collection. I bought the Axon b/c it had a 4 mm drop. I prefer to run in 4-6 mm heel to toe drop. The axon has great cushioning if you prefer that. What bothered me was the rocker style. I think its more geared to heel strikers, which I am not. I am a mid foot striker. I also felt like I was running on a platform, almost sitting up too high. My regular running shoes are Kinvara's & for longer running distances (like marathons), I run in Freedom's. Saucony's got a lot of shoes to choose from, I'm confident you'll find something you like!
