I bought 2 pairs of this shoe because I had such good luck with the Freedom 2 - but this shoe does not give me the same support - loses its shape and has no support at all. I love the color - so maybe when the Freedom 5 comes out - they will have improved it.

Good shoe if you're looking for a traditional running shoe. Unfortunately mine are gathering dust because I've switched to minimalist shoes in an attempt to cut down on running injuries. The problem I have with these and other traditional shoes is that I can't feel the ground. I've had physical therapists and others tell me to be cognizant of which toes are being used to push off the ground, etc. I can't feel that in shoes like this. While I wore Saucony's exclusively during my traditional running shoe days, I now subscribe to the theory that shoes like this can cause more harm in terms of injuries than good. If I fail miserably with my new minimalist trainers I'll certainly come back to Saucony.

I have owned several
Pair for cross fit training and the most recent pair the sole on the heal separated just after 5 months .
The pair I bought to replace them seems to have a different heal material leading me to believe others had a similar experience.
The store would not return them and I had to buy another pair.

I like the shoes, but Saucony is making their shoes more narrow. The one thing I loved about Saucony the last 15 years was they had a larger toe box than other brands. I guess not anymore. Disappointed.

Too full through the toe box. Not the perfect fit I have found (in my local shoe store) for a Saucony shoe.
I'd also recommend:

They are comfortable enough but after the first wear I noticed the black rubber on the toe of the right sneaker has started to come off. Not sure how to fix it.

Great fit but zero arch support. So cute looking and stylish but no arch support. The upper was very soft and did not contribute to stability or support. If you don't need those features, it may be right for you.

Did not like the fit, and support was marginally ok. Super snug with the tongue, and immediately felt like they would be uncomfortable.

Cute shoe and nice looking style. I usually take a 7.5 and that is what fit me in this shoe. I really wanted to like this shoe but my foot just wasn't happy when I had it on. For some reason it felt uncomfortable in the footbed on the bottom of my feet - not sure why? There aren't any bumps on the insole and it felt even but my feet were sort after I took the shoe off after just wearing it around the house for a few hours and My Achilles was also sore. The only thing that may be causing all this is the way my heel fits into the heel cup. It doesn't go straight down on the inside of the heel, it actually has a cutout as you get closer to the insert that makes your heel sit back in the shoe more, but only towards the bottom of the heel cup. This probably is to keep your heel snug in the shoe but it seems to make my feet sore. This shoe is pretty average feeling and doesn't really feel like it would be a good running shoe. I will stick with my Kinvara 12 for now. Thanks ZAPPOS for allowing me to shop and return so easily and for FREE!

Horrible shoes. No support. The worst Saucony shoes I have ever tried on my feet.

I love the Saucony brand but was very disappointed in these shoes. These are nothing like the Freedom 3 and I cannot use them for my runs They have become very expensive walking shoes.

I usually wear Asics shoes but decided to try Saucony. I like to switch out the laces for a colourful pair, big mistake with these shoes. Instead of round eyelets they have very tiny little fabric loops and eyelets that are narrow slits. Both are impossible to thread a round aglet through. So now I have a pair of new shoes without laces that I cannot return because they have been worn a couple of times.

I bought these shoes after loving every freedom show I have owned 1,2, and 3. Every time I run in these shoes I get extreme foot and hip pain. Very disappointing.

I am a huge Saucony fan.... my Triumphs simply cannot be beaten! I even buy Saucony for gifts for friends. Which is why I am so surprised regarding the FREEDOM 4's I just bought 3 weeks ago. From the very 1st run, my knees in pain and the bottom of my front feet in agony after a 5 k run. I was baffled! It seems that ALL of the energy from your foot strikes doesn't dissipate with these shoes, but instead returns right back up your leg! Whereas my Triumphs discharge 84% of all impact energy away from your foot and leg, these PWRRUN PB's seem to bring it directly back into the foot to use as energy for propulsion. That energy return from each foot strike has to go somewhere- which is right up the foot right to the knee joints. NOT a good idea for most runners. Despite the padding and comfort, I believe these shoes will prove to be a bad idea and a serious source for injuries. I would like my MONEY BACK!

I stocked up on ISO 2 as it was the perfect shoe so I didn't need the Freedom 3. Just tried the 4 and I am so disappointed :-(. It's a totally different shoe. Please remake the earlier freedoms you can even call them something else. I can't fault the quality or style but it just not the perfect shoe anymore
