This is my 6th pair and I love them. I run about 20 miles a week so I go through a pair every few months. They are great with jeans after i stop running in them!

I ordered my normal size but shoes length is little bit long it's wearable gap so it's not a big deal. But recommend 1/2 size down if you not wide footer. Otherwise very comfortable. Good upper and comfortable cushion.
I likeed it

The fit was perfect. As for comfort, I only use them for walking and no pain felt other than Initial right Achilles rub but that went away after a week. I can recommend them for walkers per the modest drop and no foot pain.

shoe seems to be for a foot with a lower arch than I have. Laces are not able to close the shoe tightly as with other shoes I have had. This is the first Sucony spair of shoes I have owned. Otherwise the shoes are comfortable to run in.

They fit a bit bigger than usual. I have other saucony that are 10.5. Next pair will be a 10.

This a very comfortable and lightweight running shoe. I only wish it had just a little thicker midsole for more cushioning. The upper is great and the outsole grip is very good.

I've been running, strength training, and wearing these casually and they are simply amazing. The NB Rebel v2 got all the attention in 21', and it's a cool shoe, but I really prefer the Freedom 4 over them and they've replaced them in my rotation. Not to mention they're way more versatile, and durability seems superior. Most importantly though, the forefoot doesn't bottom out on my daily runs. The pebax foam really shines under load. The design aesthetics seem to have come a long way from the Freedom 3 but still need some tweaking to garner their deserved attention. Well done Saucony!

Cushioning pretty good but could use a bit
more can really feel road after 3 miles.
Otherwise they seem to energize your legs
amazingly. 4 stars only because of dorky
White laces on the yellow shoes with spares of alternate black ugly laces. Thank you.

Fitting was OK... unlike what some reviewers mentioned.
the build is good and i particularly like the heel reflective pattern, though it is somewhat not blending well with the rest of the shoes. I got it to run, not for fashion... so i dont really care.

I have loved the Freedom line for a few years and was excited to hear that this model was going to have PWRRUN PB in it. Grabbed a pair as soon as I could and now with about 300km on it, I have a few thoughts. The midsole is great for tempo and speed work. no surprise there. Good lockdown and fits true. The one thing I would change is the upper, it is hot. Very little ventilation to the point where I am tempted to try to remove a layer inside the shoe. I think if I could put the upper of the Kinvara onto the midsole of the Freedom it would the perfect trainer. Also, the colours could use some work. All that being said, I did buy another pair.

Despite most not understanding its place or purpose, I've been an avid fan of the Freedom series so far, but the language in this newest iteration is disconcerting. It seems that under the pressure from consumers to be told exactly how to use this shoe, Saucony has inserted copy that insinuates this is some kind of CrossFit shoe, rather than the low-stability out of your way cushioned distance trainer it had always been. I will wait for the reviews, but for now assume that the shoe has been pivoted towards another function. Also, the colorways are unexciting at best.

Shoe is very comfortable and stylish, but the soles on both shoes have started to come off and I've only had the shoes for about two weeks.

Off the bat, not as comfortable as Freedom 3. That's my biggest issue. So far, still a serviceable medium distance running shoe. The material seams harder than Freedom 3.

For the same cost, i would rather have bought Saucony's awesome Endorphin Speed 2. Freedom 4s are a Major let down Vs its predecessor models. Basic looking, not the same plush feel with little to no reactive yield, weird fit and the upper knit material is very poor. I can't believe this poorly made style is the same cost as the Endorphin speed!

I run 40-50 mpw. I love the Endorphin line (Speed and Shift) and have been a huge fan of Saucony. I went with the Freedom 4 because I was looking for a daily trainer with the PWRRUN PB without the plate. These shoes are very stiff/firm, flat, and little to no rebound. I am not sure how this is possible given its the same foam in the Endorphin Speed which is quite the opposite in feel.

My favorite shoes for years have been the Freedom series, dating back to the ISOs, mostly because of the fit. This fit is much looser for me, and less comfortable. I should have tried it on before purchase, but I hadn't had that problem before. I am hoping I can still find some 2s and 3s.

I expected more from a Pebax based trainer but the upper is overbuilt and the shoe lacks any kind of pop. I decided to return them.

This is my 3rd Saucony Freedom, going back to the ISO days, and it's my least favorite. I don't know what happened with the fit of this shoe, but my standard 9.5 is both too long and fits poorly through the midfoot, whereas in the Freedom 3 I felt completely ensconced in the upper even in a size 10. The materials of the upper are premium, but as a running shoe it feels overdone with suede-type overlays and stitching and and is just needlessly complicated. Not to mention heavy. I bought the yellow colorway because, well, I guess it was that or another black shoe? The options are pitiful, especially considering how excellent some of the other Saucony colorways are, and especially for this price point,.
The midsole, however, is outstanding. I suspected that PWRRUN PB would be excellent without a plate, and I was right. It's springy and protective, and honestly everything I could ask for from a running shoe midsole. The outsole is also very good, with far better traction that you get from the Endorphin Speed or Pro, or even the previous Freedom 3. It's a shame that the rest of the shoe is so confused. Also--
My guess is that Saucony is trying to position this as a premium lifestyle option so as not to encroach on the Kinvara's territory, but in doing so I think they have missed the mark.
TL;DR: Saucony tried to do too much with this shoe and it cost the Freedom its identity.
