Used it for the first time today. I did not heat the inside beforehand. I just spooned hot fresh oatmeal into the container and closed it tight. The instructions warn you not to put dairy products in the thermos. So... no yogurt! I'm following that instruction to a T. I don't want to create an explosion. Was great to be able to provide my own nutritious lunch for pennies. I enjoy being frugal and besides my own food tastes so much better than the stuff I can buy....
BUT the page says there is a compartment in the lid. I can't find it. Maybe I have an older model? I bought this last year.

Would be nice if it had a container to warm things up in , but it keeps the food warm and it's tough

Bought this for my 13 year old son's lunches. It is a good size and keeps the contents hot up until his school lunch period.

Great food storage. The spork doesn't work very well. Back to using a real fork or spoon which is a bummer. Overall happy though.

I wish the spork were longer, but I know the length is for convenient storage and carry. I like the design overall, but it's harder to eat soup out of with the spork. The quality, price and appearance are all great.

Much smaller than anticipated. Maybe good for a very small cup of soup.

The food jar part is good -- keeps things cold in this hot weather. But the spork is essentially useless for liquids. You have to tilt the jar way over to get anything into the spork, plus it is shallow and holds very little.

There first day my son used this he managed to force the spork into it's holder backwards. (For some reason it is unidirectional))
Removing the spork broke the holder off the thermos leaving the metal clip beneath exposed.
While not sharp, it still has the feeling of an exposed edge.

Our employer gifted us two of these for our kids. Since no microwaves are allowed in school anymore. We started using them in September and loved that it is dishwasher safe. It kept food warm until lunchtime and the spork was practical. The issue is both lids started to spin on themselves and none could open the flasks, none of these were dropped or damaged so I wonder what is causing this. I searched on the site how to use the warranty, no information found. This would be highly recommended if it weren't for the fact these don't work anymore. Perhaps this was a bad batch.

I bought this product a month and a half ago. I don't have access to a microwave at work, so I thought this would allow me to have a hot meal for lunch. I have put boiling hot water in it to pre warm, and I heated my stew thoroughly and put it in the container right before I left for work. Nonetheless, my food was only luke warm by the time I ate lunch five hours later.

Comprei um no site da Amazon. Deu mal cheiro na borracha quando coloquei alimento quente. Acionei a empresa pelo Fale Conosco. J tem meses. Nenhuma resposta foi dada.

After reading the reviews for how the (short)Stanley thermos kept food hot I thought I had finally found a working lunch thermos. No. Not so.
Tried everything from filling with boiling hot water (before putting boiling hot soup) in the thermos. NOTHING worked. I've thrown out the paperwork so I don't know if a warranty exists but I am incredibly disappointed- soup in a cardboard container stayed hot longer than the thermos. Very frustrated I so wanted this to work. Don't waste your time or money!!
