I had to return these boots because the flaps that hold the tongue to the boot were cutting into my ankles and would become uncomfortable after a few minutes.

Right boot fit perfect but left boot was a little snug. Hopefully it will loosen up over time.

Sole must create a zero drop because the boots really hurt his achilles tendons for a few weeks. So much so that he had to go back to his old boots half way thru each day. He is still working on breaking them in and we are two weeks in. He says he still likes the boot and it waterproof (which he knows from standing in muddy trenches). I am not sure if we will get these again. He also go the Keen Utility 6" Troy in black, and really disliked those. Said they felt flat and hard (which could be fixed with removable inserts) but he said they looks like something from space or the future. In other words, they looked goofy, not like a work boot, and that bothered him. The carbon fiber toe is nice, he can still kneel and it flexes over the top of the foot. He is still hoping they break in. I think I need to change out his inserts. So I guess my review is, "don't expect to wear them all day right out of the box". "But hopefully worth it soon".

The Keen Utility Portland Waterproof Boots with Carbon Fiber Toe fit true to size. I use them in a warehouse capacity. They are comfortable work boots. I give them an overall 4 stars because they are a bit slippery in water.

They're a little narrow than EE, I mean if you want to put some insoles, the foot would be fit a little tied. So I think you have to consider that. The rest is fine!

I like Keen, in January/February I will have owned 5 pairs of Keens. However I docked 2 stars for this pair because of the rubber material below the shoe string and above the toes. This material was a point of weakness over the course of 5-9 months and developed a tear... furthermore the underside (base) of one of the boots developed a crack that worsened over time... I could shove a finger into the crack and touch my foot from the bottom. Also, on my way home from work, when it rained my sock would get wet. This pair didn't last one year; I threw them away so unfortunately I didn't take pictures to upload here. Keen makes great, comfortable boots, I won't let one bad pair keep me from sticking with the brand. The Keen boot I purchased after this one has been the best for me to date: (KEEN Utility Dover 6" Waterproof Comp Toe)

Love the boots in all capacities, however after only wearing them to work for 4 months one of the lace holders broke.

Amazing boots. Literally talked them up to all my friends. However, i received them on may 2. It is now june 2. I have worn through the soles. In a month. A single month. These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn, but for 250 bucks if they only last month, I'd say they're not worth it.
