I bought these shorts before a vacation where I knew I’d be doing a lot of walking and outdoor activities and they are now one of my go-to pairs. They are the perfect length - slightly longer than my running shorts and less likely to ride up when I’m chasing my boys around outside. The fabric is lightweight, quick-drying, stretchy and comfortable but still has a bit of structure. I wear these a lot for hiking and outdoor activities, and sometimes for running, but they look nice enough that my sister thought I was wearing dress shorts when I wore them to her house last weekend. I also like that there’s a zippered back pocket and the inside of the side pockets are mesh. I’ll probably order a second pair in another color.

Love this short! Easy to wear and care for. Love the way it fits. Sporty and casual, but still can dress it up a bit. North Face high quality as usual!

So comfortable. True to size. Great for exercising, hiking or everyday wear/grocery & errands. Love them! Have 2 pair.

it feels really good

I loved this enough to buy 3 pairs! I live in these shorts. They're the perfect "all purpose" shorts. I use them when cleaning my house as they're bleach proof, I use them for workouts, I use them for running errands. I want one for everyday of the week! For reference, I'm 5'9", 137lbs and I bought a medium. I could've gone with the small but I prefer a slightly relaxed fit.

I love these shorts. They are so lightweight and comfy, great for all activities!

Love these! I have them in two different colors. They dry so quickly, and are great for hiking or just taking your kids to the splash pad (I've also dressed them up for lunch dates!). If you also suffer from chub rub, these are at the perfect length to protect your thighs and the fabric is structured enough to keep them from riding up. 10/10 recommend.

Super comfortable shorts. I wear them a lot when I go hiking and even bushwhacking, the material is very hardy and has not ripped on me (I scooch down rocks all the time too).

I'd buy these again. Love them!!!!

I love these shorts! I wear them swimming, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and hiking. I love how comfortable they are, they don't chafe and they allow for a wide range of motion. They dry incredibly quickly which is a must-have here in the humid Southeast. Super durable, I've had my first pair for over two years and they still look like new.

I couldn't say enough good things about these shorts. These are literally my favorite shorts and I wear them multiple times a week. They are the perfect weight and length and the fit is phenomenal. They are wonderful for any and every outdoor activity. Everyone woman should own at least one pair of these shorts.

Love how these shorts stretch with you without totally bagging out. Just a slight give after wearing and they don't ride up when walking. These are my hiking, picnic, Pickle ball wearing shorts. Good for everything. Two side pockets that are generous enough to hold my iPhone 13. Back zipper pocket is nice too. Pockets lay nice and cut doesslim you. I am 5'7, 64 years old with ample upper thighs and backside. The L fit me perfectly. Did look to purchase a second pair, but I wasn't overly fond of the other colors. I bought black initially.

I am an active 64 year old with ample bootie and larger upper thighs and shorter legs. Typically wear a size 12. The large in this short fit me perfectly. The leg / seat area is ample enough to accommodate my lower body assets and they don't ride up when walking. Material is such that it moves with you so you can sit comfortably and stretch out without the fabric becoming constricting. Pockets are average size and lay flat. I bought the black (typical for me) and they slim me down whether viewing from the front or back. I can see myself wearing these for hiking, Pickleball, or to a family picnic.
