These boots are cute and fit true to size. They go on and off pretty easy….just wear socks so they don’t rub your ankles!

These boots are great quality as any Hunter boot. Very cute and I love the brownish wine color. Only reason for the 4 star in comfort is that it scratched my ankles at the top as I started walking. Maybe because it’s still new. But I would say you probably need to wear it with mid-length socks.

Just a tad harder than normal to slip on since there is a lot of rubber and elastic at ankle. I cannot wear with very thick socks.

Cute boots, nice color. Unfortunately I listened to the reviews and sized up. They were way too big. So I’m returning them. These are true to size in every way for me.

These were not black! It was like a dark gray & had quite of bit of blue tint!

The size was small. I ordered a 9, my usual size. My toes hit the front. Will send back and try a size bigger.

the back tab on one of the shoes broke the first time i tried to get them on. i was able to just glue it back on, but that means i’m not able to use that to get the shoes on. they’re also pretty tight around my foot, but they’re loosening up over time. all that being said, these are my favorite shoes i’ve ever owned. they’re SO CUTE and make me feel powerful.

I had the Tall Hunters and just didn't ever reach for them. I decided to give the Chelsea Hunters a go. I am a size 9.5 or 10, and I ordered the 10. Even with thick socks, these are a little big, but the 9s were too small. Yes, they require a little tugging to pull on - but it's a worthwhile tradeoff that they don't have a huge gap at the ankle, as every other chelsea boot seemingly does. These are stylist and easier to wear with a variety of outfits. I gave my tall boots away!

After reading the reviews I decided to order a half size up. I am glad I did . I usually wear 8 1/2 I ordered a 9. They are a bit difficult to get on. I wore boots socks and they were comfortable.

Many other reviewers complained that these boots were hard to get on and they were right. For that reason, I have returned them. If the loop at the back was big and sturdy, it probably would have made a big difference. Instead, it is small and hard to get your finger into so it's essentially useless.

So cute! The side rub a bit on my ankle bone. Couldn’t wear all day. They serve the purpose they are meant for.

Overall, I liked the booties but ended up returning them. They are cute and very stylish, but they are hard to put on and even harder to get off. They aren't worth the price. Definitely size up by 1/2 a size if you plan on wearing socks.

As others have noted, the fit is very tight. Difficult to get on and off, and not much room for socks. Too bad though, as these are incredibly cute boots and I decided to treat myself to a pair after my dog chewed my other low rain boots. They definitely get five stars for style, though!

As others have stated, very difficult to get on. Especially if wearing warm socks. Could possibly slip on nicely if wearing nylons or that weight sock. No arch support. Wish it was easy to get on - fits well once on.

Hunter has let quality go. These were poorly made with the inside edges sticking up above the elastic sides, they pinch your ankles as you walk where one inner material overlaps the other...what happened to quality control?? They feel like a cheap pair of boots, will be returning.

Not comfortable at all. If you have a wider foot and need arch support, look elsewhere because these were tight and uncomfortable.

Love them, but too hard to get on and off.

These boots have the quality that you would expect from Hunter. I think the foot bed and arch support is much more comfortable than the tall boots. And I think these are easier to walk in. The shaft is narrow, which I think is a good thing to keep rain from getting in. However, something on the inside is rubbing the outside of my ankle. The only way these were okay and comfortable was with the thickest socks I own. I don't want to be stuck wearing thick wool socks with these in the spring and summer. Unfortunately, I'm sadly, returning these. I just can't make them work. Especially as much as they cost.

No arch support. I couldn't see wearing them comfortably for any length of time

Very small and narrow. I wear a size 8 and these in a size 8 were so tight and short I couldn't get my foot in. Would need more than one size bigger.

Sooooo very small. I have hunter rain boots in other styles and I am always a size 9. However, the size 9 in the Chelsea is incredibly small. Not going to bother with a 10. Disappointing because I love the style

Sizing is off compared to all my other hunters I’ve purchased in the past. I wear a 7 across multiple styles and the 7 on these hit my toes with no room to spare. I then tried a size 8 and it was too large to where I looked like I was wearing clown shoes. Wish the brand offered half sizes for this specific model or add in a bit more room in the current sizes that are manufactured. I love the style of these shorter boots & am disappointed at the sizing issues

These are very hard to get on! This is mentioned in a lot of other reviews Once on, they fit great and snug and I know my feet would stay nice and dry. But they are not a boot you can leave by the door and expect to slip on quickly before running out. The effort needed to put them on made them unwearable and they had to be returned.
