These shoes are incredibly small. I usually wear a size 10. Knowing that Ilse Jacobsen runs small I ordered a size 11 / 41. Oh my....they felt like I was trying to squeeze my foot into a size 8 shoe. I am so disappointed. Back they go.

I have the original tulip in nearly every color. I love these shoes. Lightweight, just enough support for normal arch foot to walk all day, fun colors that go with everything dress up or down and most important - so packable and machine wash returns to like new for more than a year. My navy pair finally started to look a little faded after over 2 years of constant wear and washing. I went to reorder and saw these. Love the style - a bit more traditional and great with casual trousers. I am a 9 but order a 40 in the original because I like a less snug fit - my toes hit the front of the 39 - they run a bit small. 40’s stretch a bit but washing returns them to shape and they are easy on and off. In this style the 40 was too big so I returned and got the 39. Perfect - fits more like the original style in 40 on me. I thunk I will be buying the black pair. It is such a versatile shoe and easy to travel in or pack.

Love the tulip shoe by Ilse Jacobsen and especially this modified design with the elastic around the opening. The elastic closes the opening to help the shoe feel more secure on my narrow foot. Have 3 pair of an earlier design and can wear them all day on my feet in great comfort. In the perfect world she will release one w/o holes that I can wear into colder seasons. BTW: receive compliments frequently and have converted others into fans of the shoes.

Wish wish wish these came in half sizes. The Euro 40 is a it big and the Euro 39 is a bit short! Love the shoes. Perfect for summet

I originally tried these on in a store that did not have my size. I was glad to find them on Zappos. Hope they hold up well. Like the removable insert and ability to wash both the shoe and the insert separately.

These are great shoes, but unfortunately do not fit my feet. I normally wear a 9, but they sent me a size 39, which is always too small. I re-ordered a size 10, so I could get a size 40, which is what normally is right, but the toe box was a bit tight. I saw that others said that they stretch, but I just cannot buy shoes that hurt my toes. The heel was narrow enough for me, which is normally a problem. The sole is very flexible, which I liked a lot. I wish I could wear these shoes. Sigh

Decided to go with the reviews and order one size up. Usual size is 7.5 so ordered the 38. While the length is O.K. the shoe gaps at the instep and feels too big around the top of foot. Don't care for the new Tulip style and wish they would bring back the previous style as they fit far better.

loved shoe--but NO arch support

I loved the shoes but no arch support at all....and my custom inserts wouldn't fit.

This is my third pair of Ilse Jacobsen Tulips. They are comfortable the first time you put them on. I usually wear orthotics but don’t need them with these. They look nice for casual wear and look fine most any time—except formal! I have the blue-grey and am going to order another color but haven’t decided which one yet.

I tried this style after wearing the 3373 for a long time. I really like the additional supportive hold this shoe provides and think it will work well for travel. They are lightweight and flattering even in a size 40.

This is the 5th pair of Ilse Jacobsen Tulip shoes I have purchased. I am definitely a fan of this brand and this style.

I ordered size 42 and received size 41.

Like them they may be a brighter pink than I realized. None the less they are keepers Comfort, style and color.

These are awesome shoes. I ordered three pairs (hot pink, blue and gray) and I love them all. I usually wear a size 7.5 but I ordered the 7 and they fit perfectly.

They fit really well and are very cute and comfortable. I normally wear a size 7.5 but the size 7 fit just fine. I ordered the blue and hot pink.

I wear 7 1/2 to 8. The eight fits perfectly. Nice feel. My feet are more narrow than medium and the shoe fits snugly.

the size 40 was a great fit, these wonderful shoes do stretch out over time, so these will work great Its about my 5th pair, got to replace my red ones next. Thank you Ilse!!

This is my second pair of this size and style. The newest, blue, is tighter than my yellow pair which fits beautifully. I will wear it hoping that it stretches out.

I bought the blue and did go up a size and they fit perfectly! They are so comfortable and now I’m getting the black.

Bought these shoes to have a comfortable pair of shoes for a lot of walking. SIL bought a pair for a trip where she did a lot of walking and highly recommended. I bought them in Falcon and it is a nice neutral color, as pictured. I usually wear a 7 1/2, sometimes 8. I ordered in an 8 and they fit perfectly. No room to spare. They are super comfortable. At first they felt a little tight around the toe of my right foot, but many reviews said they stretch. Wore around the house for a little first to make sure they were comfortable and they were. They do not hurt at all after a full day of being on your feet. I like that they are also breathable. They look good with pants and casual dresses or skirts. I will probably order another pair in a dark color. Very happy with my purchase.
