I half-way like this shoe. I'm a Chaco wearer who is trying to break up with Chaco because of their decline in quality. With that being said, I'm an arch support sport sandal seeker. There are a few Teva styles with this particular footbed, and it does have better arch support and contour than the Hurricane footbed, but it's not as much as a Chaco. It's a perfectly comfortable shoe, but it's a strappy mess. The middle zig-zag strap section is worthless. You tighten it to fit, and by the end of your walk, it's all loosened up. It's just a pointless feature. What I would really like to see is Teva make their classic strap design (like the Hurricane), but on this footbed.

Just arrived and I’m so pumped! I wear a size 5 and have a slim foot with a high arch and have been searching for sport sandals for YEARS. I’ve tried all the styles of the major brands and stalk them every Spring and until this one haven’t found success. It fits!! I really like that it’s adjustable in three places so you get a secure fit on the ankle, the middle and the tip. It could also be tightened or loosened depending on what you need that day or in cold/hot weather. Sufficient arch support and good treads. I like the strap across the toes so the front isn’t floppy when I walk or feel like it could make me trip. I also tied the Tirra model, but it was a bit bulkier and a smidge too long. This one is lighter and has a slimmer profile. YAY!!!!!!!

I have very flat feet and the sandals with the arch and holding my foot in place really help my walking. They are so comfortable I can wear them all day. I love them. Teva sandals are about the only ones I can wear. Gold medalist

A neighbor was walking her 10,000 steps in a similar pair so when she told me the ones I immediately ordered some. 5 to be exact. I kept 2 and one of them is this pair. I wish the colors were a bit more FUN but the blue are a happy medium. In terms of comfort these are the most comfy (compared to the the basic Teva and the Hurricanes) Supportive, nice grip, adjustable, and enough cushion without being too soft. Im an 8 in Tevas but these in 8.5 fit perfectly. I have thin flat feet and skinny ankles and checked all the boxes. PS IGNORE UNPED-IED toes LOL

I have narrow feet and so bought this sandal because of all the adjustments it has. The fit is good. Style - on the weaker side, but comfort is more important to me when hiking.
Haven't tried it outdoors yet nor for long walks, so I might update later on.

I really like the sandal, but the selling feature - the center strap - doesn't stay tight. I have high arches, so when I first put on the sandals, I loved the extra support I got from tightening up the center strap. But it seriously comes loose within seconds of walking. I really love the way it looks and the blu color is really pretty. But sadly, I'm returning them and exchanging for my old faithful style - the Tirra. Tirra is a great sandal all-around - support, comfort, and looks. I attached the picture so you can see what it looks like when the center strap is loose.

I have had a pair of Teva Terra for several years and they were my very reliable warm weather travel shoes. I tried a newer model, but found the straps irritating. I almost gave up, but decided to try the Ascona and not only do they look a little more attractive (feminine) they were very comfortable right out of the box. I hope they last as long.

Very similar to my Teva Tirras but there are more support straps on the shoe. I like the adjustable straps at the ankle, top of foot and the front too. I wore them straight out of the box for the last 4 days with no break in period and have no issues. Lightweight and comfortable. Small raised arch in footbed but not too much. Very stylish and versatile.

They look great and the fit is right. However, the buckle is not good! I am constantly tightening the straps because the buckle slips and makes them loose. This is really annoying! I hope Teva reads these reviews and corrects the issue.

These are very comfortable sandals and the purple color is really pretty and vibrant. Unfortunately, the center strap does not stay tight and loosens after taking just a few steps. I have a slightly narrow/low volume foot and so it is not comfortable to have this strap so loose. I will be returning these.

love these sandals! they’re really pretty and very comfy with nice grippy tread. they run tts, unlike some other tevas. i’m an 8.5, but wear an 8 in the hurricane xlt2, so i ordered these in an 8 as well, but had to send them back and order an 8.5.

I really like these sandals. All the strips make them very customizable. I did get some slight rubbing from one of the front straps, on the front of my foot, but I expect that I just need to break them in a little more. They're good-looking, so I wouldn't be afraid to wear them with a casual sundress for a dinner or concert.

A good shoe. I had to return because, due to my own feet condition they were not adequate (I have to put orthodics In my sandals and they would have worked in this sandals). One thing I didn’t like beside that is that the gripping side of the scratches are on the outside and will grab any dirt or garment that will come in contact.

If you like a strappy sandal these look nice. I like them but prefer the Tirra as I feel like the sole and arch support are better on that sandal versus this one. I can wear the Tirra all day and my feet don't hurt not the case for these.

Last summer I ordered about 15 pairs of sandals, to make the best decision. I loved the look of these, but a good quality sandal is crucial with my lower back injury. I chose to keep these in black and blue - and from the first step - straps loosened as I stepped and never tightened. I'd have to wear them loose or pull the top strap closed after every single step. I've worn them anyway and was sent home from my job in the field a month ago with a foot injury and can't go back for another four weeks. Foot bed good, but that doesn't matter when the straps not working keep them loose as can be. Sandles with straps that pretend to be be adjustable is criminal. After all this I need to spend more money getting a Tirra and throw away both of these which cosmetically, I loved. Had I kept ONE pair, I'd have thought they were defective, but it was BOTH pairs.

I really like the look and great comfort of this sandal, I am an exact 9 1/2 with a narrow heel and wider forefoot. (A true combination last.) And it’s all provided without screaming out TEVA!
Yes, the middle strap does not hold in place well, yet this fact does not effect my enjoyment at all… and the top and bottom straps hold securely, are adjustable and stay put. The middle strap has already improved with time. Quality workmanship. Mine are worn almost daily. Walking, easy hiking, and definitely for travel. The original intent.

Teva's are super comfortable. Hard-wearing as I hike the volcanic trails of Hawaii daily.
I also appreciate the ethic of the company and buy teva's over cheaper knock-off brands to help achieve higher goals through my purchases. ( but I'd like to know more definitively where the shoes are made)

I just cant go wrong buying Teva's. They are true to size, not to wide, love the straps for security and easy. They are flat which is great for my foot but there is no arch support. I wear and 8 and ordered an 8. great color!
