Comfortable and fit well EXCEPT where it bites into my son's feet right below the inside ankles. I think another reviewer mentioned this as well. Socks didn't help. Can only wear if not planning to walk much.

This model Teva material hurts my toenails. Can’t wear them.

Feels unsafe , very slick. No grip. Terrible fit. Slipperiest shoe ever. - caused blisters in less than an hour of wear I doors. - will never wear them outdoor. - the exact opposite of what you would want hiking streams or shoreline. Terrible.

Slippery soles and irregular fit. The slickest shoes I've ever worn. ; zero grip tongue souls. The fit is horribly irregular, tight and loose at the same time. 1 hour of wear - indoors to test them out - 2 giant blisters and uncomfortable all around the top and sides.

I bought these from Teva but took 6 months to wear them for any length of time. There is a seam on the inside that catches under your toenails and pulls them up. Back heel rubs badly. Horrible torture shoes. Avoid.

Same problem, due to the high arch I can't wear these shoes, tingling sensation due to poor blood circulation. You should make these shoes more adjustable at the top, I love the design but it's a very poor design, I don't recommend this to anyone. Please change the design and I will gladly keep buying them.

These sandals are not meant for people with high arch feet, the top part of the shoe is constantly pressing and causing tingling in my feet which is very annoying due to poor blood circulation, also the strap that goes above the heel feels very nice to touch but since it's rubber it won't stretch as it would with leather, causing pain after wearing for few hours. As much as I love the design I hate the shoe and I don't recommend it to anyone with high heel and wide feet.

I wanted to love these Flintwoods so much. But on my first time wearing these, on a walk around the neighborhood on Easter Sunday, I got four intense blisters. The rigid ankle support digs into the skin and ankle bones. Otherwise, I love the design and the look of these, and I had really, really high hopes. I think if they took a look at the ankle support and replaced it with something like a woven material, it wouldn't be so hard on the ankle bones and it wouldn't dig so robustly into the skin. I love Teva stuff and it makes me sad to give them a poor review. I hope they fix it cuz I like this model. But ultimately I had to throw them away.

My son and I each got the same pair and ended up with the same injury. These Teva's kept rubbing against the skin below our ankles so much we ended our hikes with bloody and blistered ankles from the ridgid plastic ankle strap! We thought it was just because they weren't broken in so we wore them at least 10 times and still got the same injuries.

I bought these for a canoe trip, spent a month breaking them in. The hard rubber on the ankles wore numerous sores on my foot. They were incredibly painful based on this flawed design. My son used the same model of sandal on the trip, and had sores in the same places. Would NOT recommend.

These feel good when you try them on but when you do any kind of walking in them (even a half mile) they dig into your ankles. It seems to get worse when they get wet. I've worn them 3 times and determined I won't be able to use them. Bummer because I've loved all my other Tevas and used them for 20+ years. The material that touches your feet is really firm rubber which I think is the problem.

These things made my ankles bleed. When I first found them online I was very excited because they looked perfect. I had been looking for a replacement for the sandals I've worn forever but the quality of this company tanked. I wanted a fully enclosed toe box and a heel strap and there it all was! When they arrived and I tried them on within an hour the strap turning device ate a hole in my ankle. They went back

I have had Teva sandals for several years. This is the first pair that ever hurt my feet. The straps around the ankles are very stiff and rub just under those ankle bone. After a long walk both ankles were rubbed raw. First uncomfortable Tevas I have ever owned. Not happy.

I loved these shoes. Wore them everywhere for the 38 days that I had them. Then they broke. The back "strap" portion that is sewed to the cloth feature was the weak point and it literally busted open... I was so sad.

This shoe does not go on the foot easily because of the back heel strap not being leather but rather the black substance, what ever it is , not sliding easily over the foot and even worse if wearing socks.
