Rear strap which has a small piece of leather to secure it to the sandal body broke right out of the sandal within weeks of use.The weak link in this sandal . Teva needs to update this. I feel its a poor design with a limited life . Much less that the sandal as a whole.
Teva did replace the sandal.

The teva hurricane you changed the rugged Soles. And gave them to the Hudson's which has short ankle straps by 3 inches from the Teva's hurricane.

Shoes was very comfortable but the material used for the food bed caused two huge blister on the balls of the feet. The memory foam formed to the bottom of the feet and when it was flattened where the most pressure was at, it rubbed the balls of the feet and created blisters.

Disappointed. I DO NOT recommend. The durability is not good. They lasted one year. I bought these to replace the pair I’ve had for one year. After more thought, I returned the new sandals. Why? Because the rear straps on BOTH of my exiting sandals failed. The rear straps on my EXISTING sandals (same as the ones I’m reviewing here) pulled out of the base. I superglued them back in, and the straps quickly pulled back out. This is a clear flaw. I’ve had the sandals for one year. My previous Teva’s lasted years. After more thought, ordering the same thing was setting myself up for the same problem. So, without opening the box, I returned them. I don’t think the new pair would have done better. I’ve switched to Merrell.

I purchased the same Teva sandals several years ago and they had great arch supports. This new version has minimum support and has caused calf and leg issues whenever I wear them. I am not happy as a result.

Quality has a lot of room for improvement;
The stitching was either missed or at very least inconsistent between Right & Left Foot Straps;
Velcro was not aligned to the strap; The end of on sandal isn't stitched together. One side stops at the plastic end and hangs past the end. The other is stitched all the way up.
Overall it seems like this was poorly put together. I hope it is an anomaly. Last, I miss the quick release buckles and cannot find any new sandal where these exist any longer.

They look great. But I can only wear them for a few hours before the bottom of my feet ache. Really didn't expect this issue with Tevass. I own the Minam sandals and I can wear them all day and feel great. I wish they came in another color other than black.

This pair of sandals was incredibly comfortable, but WAY TOO BIG!!! I normally wear an 11M in shoes to fit my arch. I ordered this pair in 10M, and they were way too long. I can't order a 9M, because the nominal arch the sandals come with would be way off, so... I gave the pair to my brother-in-law. I hope he enjoys them; if they fit, they are a revelation!

They shortened the straps so that the sandals are pretty much unusable now. I've been using these sandals for decades and now Teva has cheaped out and decided it would be a good idea to shorten the straps. Brilliant!

Super disappointing that I gave Teva's a 2nd chance with this Hudson Sandal and after only 3 months of wearing it, the material that holds the back strap broke while simply walking down the sidewalk, rendering the pair useless.
I made a point to not use these for any strenuous activity, no hiking, no river crossing. After getting 8 other friends to buy Teva's, this one hurts! And since I bought the shoes over a year ago, their warranty doesn't help at all. Their return policy is brutal. I'd have to pay/ship the shoes back myself just 'for a chance' that I could get refunded or replaced.

these sandals only lasted 5 months, they came apart at the top strap , the strap connects to the sole , the first 5 months were great, lol, I was really shocked the way they came apart, I went to go put gas in my car, & next thing I noticed the right sandal felt very loose, I just realized that the sandal broke, good thing I was close to home,

I have had these Tevas since mid-February... today, July 10, just over 5 months, the strap over the toes completely broke off from the sole. This is the 2nd pair of Teva sandals that have broken this way. I had previously had a pair for years... not sure what is up with Teva... but they are holding up. I do not intend to spend 80+ dollars to get less than 1/2 a year wear.

I wear typically a size 9.5 or 10. As many others have mentioned, Teva no longer offers half sizes. All of my previous size 9.5 Tevas going back 30 years fit great! Bought this one in a size 9 from Zappos after trying on same model in size 10 in local shoe store and found the size 10 to be about 0.75" too long. The size 9 was barely long enough but was seriously uncomfortable due to too narrow/tight fit, even after multiple adjustments made with all three straps. Don't know why Teva can't figure out the need for half sizes They have lost a longstanding loyal customer to another brand that does offer half sizes. Dummies!

This product broke on me after 2 weeks of wearing. I'm into shoes and was excited to buy my first pair of Teva sandals.Total failure . What a disappointment! Maybe this was an aberration. i would be happy to send them back to be repaired or you could send me another pair and inspecting this pair for the reason of failure.
I didn't even use them for hiking yet. I was just breaking them in. I would not give this pair ANY stars
