Great and very comfortable hiking boot that feels like a pair of running shoes. Extremely light but great overall support and waterproofing seems to work as well. Will buy a brown pair if they come back into stock.

These are what I needed for everyday. Having been a Teva customer for a while now, I know what to look for. With these, it's the Vibram sole. They are also light enough that the 'step' isn't so heavy. One note, around my pinky toes they start to get a little sore by the end of the day. Hoping break in will help. Otherwise, these are my answer and I am happy!

Ridgeview Mids are extremely comfortable and lightweight. They're exactly what I needed for comfort and the cold weather.

It is waterproof enough to commute by bike on, and I like that it doesn't overcrowd the ankles, giving you full mobility.

These are the single greatest pair of shoes I've ever bought. The vibram sole makes it so easy to take steps and the waterproof lining is great.

Almost 10 years ago I bought a pair of Teva Raith boots for hiking and backpacking. I have put many hundred miles on them without a single blister. After years of Teva not making hiking boots anymore I was excited to find these new Ridgeview boots that have the same fit as the old Raith. Just got back from a 6 day backpacking trip in Yosemite with them and they have been great. No blisters, great fit, great traction with the Vibram sole. I am super happy.

I read all the reviews before purchasing these boots. Ordered my usual 9.5 but they were just a bit snug, and as others have stated, hard to get into. After an easy return to get size 10, a good fit and with the laces loose and some break in time they go on no problem. Super light weight which I like. Wish they had a bit more arch support, may need an insert. Hopefully they'll hold up as an every day boot for walking, light hikes and yard work.

I really like this boot. It has all the qualities that I was looking for. Water resistant, work boot, cushion, grip. My only issue is that the show is not built for high arches. I have to insert my arch supports (after taking out the inserts) and the bridge of my foot is soar after wearing for the full day. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Bought to replace heavy leather boots for summer use. Took time to get use to having no hooks for laces . The lace loops work and provide a secure dry fit. No leaks to report despite constant soaking. I'd buy again.

I install solar on roofs in Colorado in ski towns.
The most amazing thing about these shoes is they are warm and pretty water proof but well ventilated.
My feet never sweat, never get cold, the shoes do not absorb moisture from snow, and they are very comfortable.
The next most amazing thing about these shoes is the traction, I work on roofs, we shovel off the snow and get to work, and I have never experienced better traction on slippery surfaces.
My only complaint so far is that the black rubber stuff on the toe area is already failingafter only 2 months, it's cracking and falling off, I don't think it affects the waterproofness so I'm not to upset about it, I am hard on my foot ware.

I ordered both the Ridgeview and Riva boots, tried them both around the house for a few days and decided to go with the Riva's. Ridgeview are ok, but liked the Rivas better. Ridgeview seemed like it would be good on streets and sidewalks but not so much on trails.
Both boots have eyelets for the laces and NO hooks, so getting them off and on in unnecessarily difficult, seems like a pretty poor design for no good reason.
I ordered both 8.5 and 9, 8.5 is my normal size and was a good fit.

Nice fit, good comfort, no breath ability. This is more of a winter boots. I had hoped for a year round boot but this is not it.

I like Teva sandals, but the boot looked better in photos than in person. Not a bad product, just a little snug fit and the look and feel of the materials left me wanting. Returned.
I'd also recommend:

My husband bought these boots in store about a week ago and the sidewall of the boot already has a tear in it and looks like he has had them for months. we are very disappointed in the quality, especially at this price point.

This is a lifestyle trail shoe, not as sturdy as old Wraith III models. This has a knit upper that would not provide support on uneven surface and has little to no structural support from polyester strapping on previous model. Minimal of reinforcement around laces but any ability to secure your foot for handling muddy/slippery surfaces is hopeless.

So bummed about these. Been searching for new hiking boots and hoped Teva would come through, as I have a couple of other pairs of shoes from them and really like them. Sadly these have to go back, as the cons are too much to overcome. Such a near miss.
Pros:
-Super cushiony insoles
-Wider toe box
-Nice looking
-Seem very Grippy
Cons:
-Hard to get foot in due to attached tongue - I have narrow feet and I had to really work to get my feet in. My husband tried to get them on and couldn't - he has average sized feet.
-They sort of curve in and rub aggressively at the ankles. Blisters guaranteed and I don't think breaking them in would help. Just walking around the house was uncomfortable.
-Not breathable - feet were sweaty just wearing them around the house on a cold day, and I'm a cold natured person who doesn't sweat much. Can't imagine a warm day on the trail in these.

This is the second time I've been disappointed by these shoes. The first pair took a while to break in, causing me blistering and sore feet. The second pair of Texas felt good initially, but then caused foot pain and rubbing and offered virtually no arch support. I was disappointed because these shoes weren't cheap!

mesh shoes for leather price. comfortable but already too loose. instead of an eyelet, the laces have a sort of sleeve, which you have to re-thread every time you lace up the shoes, which is bothersome.

I am not stoked to leave a negative review but I sent the shoes back. Whatever is put on the toe area is not a protector, it started to disintegrate after the first walk. Shortly after the glue that holds the shoe together started to separate. On top of that it feels like I was wearing a plastic bag on my foot. It seems to me that R&D was minimal on this product by TEVA before they put it out for the consumer.
