The quarter socks are a tiny bit longer than my micro crew, they still fit just fine. Very comfortable. Very cushioned. I wear a 10 in brooks and always get Lg in this brand.

These are my favorite walking/hiking socks. Lots of socks bunch up under my toes and make my feet hurt. Or they are too tight around the ankle and make my legs sweel (I don't have huge ankles but they aren't skinny). These socks have just the right amount of cushion. They wash well. I wash them inside out, dry them for 10 minutes in the dryer, then hang them outside to dry. This seems to make them soft but longer lasting than other methods.

Just the right thickness and cushion. The airy, lightweight material on top is located in just the right spot. Even in summer, I prefer a quarter sock when not on pavement to keep debris out of my shoes. Nice overall colors with a darker lower shade easier to keep clean.

I didn't think thicker, socks would make a difference, but these are SO comfy for longer hikes. My foot is much warmer and happier than in normal athletic socks. I don't like the ankle height with leggings, but it keeps my ankles safe from poison oak and keeps rocks our of foot, unlike lowrise athletic socks.

Surprisingly cool, even in Florida. Fit is true, blue color as pictured. I really like the height as I use them when gardening. Hope to buy same style in another color.

I’m a size 10 and got large. I thought they were going to be too long but I dried them one time and they are perfect. They are soft all over and have great cushion on the sole and toes. I love Darn Tough socks.

I want more!

I’m pretty hard on hiking socks, but Darn Tough are some of the best I’ve tried. Tightly woven and comfortable with interesting color combinations and style.

I love the whimsy and colorfulness of these socks. They are a little big for me, though. But, I love ALL Darn Tough socks, so know these will be favorites and will last a long, long time.

Good quality, medium thickness, nice colors. I wore them hiking last weekend and they kept my feet from sliding in my shoes. I ordered a size up as I was in between sizes. I thought they may bunch up - but no they worked just fine.

Perfect for keeping my feet cushioned on my morning walks. Even in the South, they are breathable and comfortable year-round.

I love these. I have always bought the no show, but have taken a fall and my ankle keeps swelling so no show socks weren't advisable. I bought these for everyday wear, and actually love them more!! I love the cushion, the socks are so comfortable, so I bought 2 pair, but I think I am going to buy more of these, unless there is a lighter weight you make in summer. But I quite honestly believe these would be great in the summer too.
