These are the perfect thickness and feel like part of my feet. I am always worried that socks will be too thick for my boots, but these socks took that worry away immediately after trying them on. They also keep heat in wonderfully despite the thinner appear. I honestly forgot they were on my feet. The only concern I have is that they are a bit tight on the calves. The socks exert some compression, and when I first wore them for a day and took them off, I saw a faint redness on my calves. I'm hoping time, use, and a few washes will the socks fit a bit better on my calves.

I've always loved the quality of your socks & lifetime guarantee but what really made me a loyal customer for life, is my recent experience w/your customer service. I ordered 2 pairs of socks as Xmas gifts, the post office showed delivered but I never got them & resigned myself that a "porch pirate" had stolen them from my porch. When I called to order another pair, the staff I spoke to said they'd reship them and NOT CHARGE ME for the reorder or the shipping! I insisted they charge me as it wasn't their fault, but they graciously said it was no problem. So I received the sox in time for Xmas and am now sharing this story of the mind blowing customer service of Darn Tough! You guys are amazing! Thank you!

Just the right height, they stay put and fit snugly, but not too tight. No cushion makes them great under my riding tall boots and breeches.
