Great everyday socks. Good cushion with ventilation on top. Plenty cool for the summer. I prefer 1/4 height because they give me a little more tick protection around the ankle and Ill still wear with shorts.

Bought these and two other varieties for a 3 week trip in Europe. They didnt disappoint. Tough and comfortable. No wearing out, stayed drier than other socks when it came to sweat wicking and even when it rained. I was walking 8-10 miles a day in them and they were very comfortable!

Good alternative to other brands of socks. Like the way that these socks do not pill in the heal area.

Comfortable lightweight socks with padding in all the right places!

Worn in moderately warm temperatures the quarter lightweight sock were soft and comfortable with no moisture issues. Have not worn them enough to comment on durability.

I have six pair of these socks now and absolutely love them. They're extremely comfortable, provide just the right amount of light cushioning, and come in a variety of snazzy colors and patterns. I'll be acquiring more of these as well as other Darn Tough models. Best socks ever!!

I've been wearing these for running. I like a little something above my ankle, and this fits that need perfectly while still fitting comfortably underneath my gators. It's a great trail running match for me!

Working fine for the first few weeks. Comfy enough. So far pairs of socks tend to last about 6 months before they get holes. At least I can get a new pair for only the cost of shipping.

I really love the quarter sock. Cool and soft, these babies wear like iron. The uncushioned are great in the heat.

The absolute best sock in the entire Darn Tough line for summer hiking. Lightweight, just enough above the shoe for insect repellant application, and extra cushioning only where its needed. Truly the flagship. I only wish there were more designs in this style!

I bought these socks for my husband, a picky shoe and sock man who hates to shop. I am a forever fan of Darn Tough socks. They are everything they are claimed to be--beautifully made, comfortable, attractive, functional and incredibly durable. Long story short--now my husband loves them, too.

I do like the socks and their quality. I wish they had a sock with a bit wider toe box due to feet swelling from walking. Can tend to feel a little tight.
