I think you are officially old if you get excited about socks, but here we are. Hahaha these are great. I do long runs and marathons, and I need a sock that will prevent blisters and keep my feet cushioned for the long haul. I was skeptical about wool. I was afraid they might be hot, scratchy, or stretch out. None of that has been true, and added bonus, they dont easily get smelly either. Im going back for more.

Size description is way off. Your extra large should be extra small.

Socks are great

Great sock. Comfortable and good looking. This sock is made well and light enough to not make my foot hot and sweaty but thick enough to perform well. Its a nice all around sock.

These socks are lightweight, but great for any season.

The 1/4 ultra-light running sock with cushioning is the perfect warm weather combination. My feet always get too hot in the light-weight socks during the warmer months. The ultra-light weight solves this problem, and the cushioning still provides additional comfort on hard surfaces.

These are probably my favorite running socks from Darn Tough, which is my favorite sock company in the world. The socks fit very well and are thin and cool, though I wear them through the winter and they work fine in cool temps as well. They hug the ankle nicely so you don't get gravel or dirt and grime down your ankle inside the sock either.

Same size as the other styles I tried, but these fit perfectly. Again, significant variability between styles even in the same size.

I have a few pairs of this sock in black and the colorful pair fits exactly the same. These are perfect for everyday wear with low hiking boots or regular shoes

Ive tried multiple pairs of running socks, over the years, and none of them hold a candle to these Darn Tough socks!

The socks are too tight in my feet and cause them to sweat. The moisture wicking doesn't help much

Best socks Ive owned

Love these to wear around the house! They are so smooth and feel very premium. Very comfortable and they seem like they will last a long time. These are the closest I have found to plain black socks.
