I tried to wear them thinking I could break in the shoes but its not working, I'm disappointed , I didn't realize they ran small.

I have these in two different colors which are the seafoam and black/bronze. These are two totally different flip flops. One positive is the colors/sparkle of both is beautiful. The seafoam reminds me of a mermaid. Like other reviews said, they must have changed the way they make them because these are two totally different flip flops.
The black/bronze sole is very hard and will take wearing them a lot really break them in. The seafoam sole is softer and feels more like the cushion bounce that the title says. I had to wear the seafoam ones only once or twice to break them in.
I found the seafoam ones to fit my feet better where the black/bronze ones are bigger. I have a size 5 in each btw.
The straps on each are the hard plastic. I found that this style with the plastic strap are not great for the beach because the sand and water rub against your skin causing blisters and redness. These are more for going out and about or running errands. I love the sparkle of the black/bronze hence why I am willing to keep them and hope that wearing them will soften the flips flops up a bit. As I have said in past reviews, the black sole does get hot on your feet so you may not want to wear these are really hot days.
I hope REEF will remake these next year like the old cushion bounce style. The old style is more comfortable and smaller for a better fit. The colors and sparkle are beautiful though.

I had a pair of these a few years ago and thought I was ordering the same pair this time. The old pair had this amazing plastic for between your toes that never hurt like most others usually did and they were my favorite. So I ordered these in the "Cloud" color for this summer. I am so sad that they changed the style of plastic used for between the toes, it hurts sooo bad, I wore them for 4 hours around the office and had blisters on my toe knuckles. I'm hoping maybe they will soften up or stretch out. If I hadn't worn them outside already I probably would've returned them unfortunately.

Thought these would be comfy considering the price but they are the complete opposite. However, they are cute

I've been wearing these since 2011! I buy 2-3 pair every year, because they're super comfy & I rotate the 'old' pairs to use for my yard, running errands, a pair in my car, etc. (Even wore them to Disneyland for comfort!) This year, the design isn't squishy-soft anymore and they don't feel as secure when walking Sent 2 to my college kid, she said that they weren't comfy & hers!

The thong part that hits around the middle of your foot is extremely uncomfortable. I have had Reefs in the past that require no breaking in, put them on out of the box and I cold wear them for hours. I have had these for over a month and feel like I am still breaking them in, and I'm not sure they will ever be comfortable honestly.

I received these flops as a result of a warranty issue. However, they run smaller then my previous pair. Not sure how to proceed form here.

I was a big fan of the previous version of these shoes, and - despite the reviews - had been hoping that these would be similar enough to replace the ones that are getting worn out since you don't make the very comfortable previous version anymore. Besides the arch support, the thing I've always loved about my Reefs was the material used to go between my toes. it was not rigid, and didn't cause discomfort. I was dismayed to find that the new version has rubber (or some other type of plastic/silicone material) between the toes now, rather than the "ribbon-like" material of the previous versions (still used on the Gingers), which is pretty UNcomfortable. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed this before I took the tags off the two pairs I bought, so I'm now stuck with them.
PLEASE bring back the old Stargazer shoes. This is NOT an improvement and a lot of people feel the same way!

I formerly had the older style of footbed- like more of a cushiony foam- and was diss appointed in this new footbed. It's comfortable but my feet and legs get tired after 30 minutes if wearing these. I could literally go all day in my previous pair. Cute sandals- but they don't compare at all with the comfort if the older model

I bought this pair and the Bliss Nights pair expecting them to be cushiony as their product description and some of their Reviewers have stated. It is thin and stiff. What a major disappointment.

I bought this because a friend said they were very comfortable. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 so I got the 7. They fit, but are snug. They also hurt where the strap connects on the sides of the flip flop. Not very comfortable.

I bought Reef flip-flops like this about three years ago. I was disappointed in this new version I received. The cushion is harder and not as comfortable as my prior Reef flip-flops and the strap tucks under my instep on my foot and is uncomfortable. The strap is also more narrow and a cheaper version than what I had before. I purchased two pairs thinking I would get the same flip-flops as before. Very disappointed.

I always wear a size 9 in Reef sandals, these ran too big. I tripped walking around my kitchen checking them out!?!?

I have bought several pairs of the stargazers but will never again. They are so uncomfortable and not same material as normally purchased. The straps cut into my feet and the soles are hard. Wish I had known they changed material before I bought them and I would have saved my money.

I have bought other styles of cushion reefs and they're so much better than these. These really don't have much cushion and are very narrow. Pick a different style, any style but these.

I love reef, however the cushion stargazer are not as comfortable as the old ones. I will purchase the old style with only 4 colors.

I don't know why companies have a great shoe that everyone loves and then thinks they need to change it. The new soles/footbed are so uncomfortable and the arch hits at the wrong place. I really hope they don't discontinue the original and would love them to bring back more styles in the old sole/footbed. Very disappointing and will not buy any with this bottom.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. The stargazers have changed - rubber in between the toes (not cloth) and not as much cushion and the fit is loose

I ordered one of each, the new & the regular stargazer. So glad I did but unfortunately the new style is headed back. The original stargazer is amazing. Offer more colors in it, please.

Please go back to the old stargazer. They were perfect. The new ones are awful. The strap is to thin and the bottom is to hard. I have 12 pair of the old ones and love them. The new ones I can't wear. Please please go back to the old ones. I have always told everyone that the stargazer was the perfect flip flop. I can't say that now. I can't recommend the new ones
