Loved these hikers, but after about five days of under 8 mile hikes a day, they started digging into my ankles. Not the most comfortable! Sadly they’re going back.

loved the look of this shoe , but even though I ordered half a size up, I could not even get my foot into it, sizing seems way off, at least a full size too small

Had not ordered Columbias before I can sometimes wear an 8 but these were def a large 8. Will keep looking

Broke my ankle and looking for tall boots to help through recovery. These were almost perfect but i have a bunion and the front lace hole was rubbing it. Will keep looking!

Looked cute but don't work for my feet. Based on reviews, I ordered a half-size up, and they were too long. However, the toe is slightly pointed, so even though they were long, they still squeezed my toes. It just depends on your foot shape.

This mid ankle hiking boot has potential and the footbed is comfortable and cushioned. But the heel and toe box feel narrow. There was an odd wrinkle inside on the toe of one of the boots that caused an odd pressure on my toes. Little squeeze on the sides of the heels too. If I am going to be hiking in these I really need boots with no odd pressure points. So, back they go.

Nice light weight shoe, unfortunately they were too narrow and I had to send them back.

A little too small and narrow all around for me so I had to return. I’m almost always an 8W and that is what I ordered. Also they are primarily made of some weird crinkly stiff fabric material which I was not a fan of. It was pretty nice looking however and quite lightweight. Kind of sneaker meets hiking boot style, and I liked the color. I don’t know about the arch support because I tried them with my own orthotic which worked fine.

First, I could not put these boots on without the help of a shoe horn! Testing them in my house, I quickly discovered the break reported by others, which hit right at the base of my toes. Finally, the toe box shape was almost pointed, compressing my toes. That being said, these are cute shoes and seem well made. Ordering a half size up was the right fit for me. They are also much lighter to wear than usual hiking boot. They're Just not for me.

These rub at exactly the wrong place on my ankle. So sad because they are super comfortable and lightweight, as well as fun.

They ran small on my feet. The inside of the shoe also rubbed my little toe. Had to return.

These were quite small for their stated size. and also very stiff out of the box. I returned these.

Order a half size up. I didn’t like the way the shoe wrapped my foot. It wasn't sturdy so when I placed weight on my foot, the shoe got fatter across. It was really odd. I liked the style and wanted to love them but they run small and so went back.

I ordered these a 1/2 size larger as suggested in the description. I usually wear a size 9 in most all shoes and boots - sometimes 8.5 depending. However, these were huge! They felt a full size larger and felt very wide in forefoot. I tried to tighten the laces as much as possible but they were still big in the widest part of the boot and they just didn't look right. I thought that Columbia had gotten away from their usual stiff boot design with this boot. It looks like it would fit more like a sneaker boot with the soft sides but they were not form fitting such as The North Face Vectiv Futurelight or Keen Terradora. Granted, the Terradora is made on a narrower last but The North Face Vectiv Futurelight fits snugly but not tight and fits with my normal size. I was hoping Columbia was going to be similar but it was not. Oh, well. The search continues!

I'm a pretty consistent 6.5 with a slightly wide toe box, and had to go up to a 7.5 wide for this one. Super cute, but this boot needs the right fit to be waterproof. The tongue connection stops before the ankle rise, and kind of frays? I was still willing to try the 7.5 and the replacement fits great without the fraying- attributing that to a good fit? Worth it for comfort and style. Just size up.

This is a weird boot. I was concerned about ankle-rubbing, but that part is ok. What does not work is the sizing. It runs both narrow and small (other reviewers have pointed out the need to order larger sizes). I ordered a half-size up (I am usually 8.5), but that did not help with the fact that these boots are narrow across the front. I wear regular width shoes and boots, but these were made for a narrow foot. Because of the narrow design in front I cannot recommend these unless you have narrow feet.

These run quite small. I only tried on one, and could barely get it on my foot. Back in the box it went. The shoes looked ok, but were much lighter weight than I’d hoped. Even if they fit, they would not have served my purpose. More like high top sneakers.

These run REALLY small. I'm normally 8.5 and could barely get my foot in the shoe. I'll be returning them even though they are so cute. Fortunately, I ordered a 9 in a different pair and those fit great.
