Very stiff - made a weird crinkly noise when I walked. Also seemed to be very hot although they claim to be breathable.

These didn’t work for me. Too stiff and hard. They have a plasticky feeling liner that makes a weird crunching sound - in the left shoe only, when I tried them on in the living room and walked around a bit. Not much arch support. I would have had to add a more supportive insole if I kept them.

These shoes have been worn! The front of both shoes is deeply creased. Very disappointed in Zappos on this order. Have ordered many times from them but this has never happened before.

These are not comfortable. Make my toes numb and cut into my ankle. I tried breaking them in which shouldn't be necessary so I can't return them but I would otherwise.

I tested the shoes in todays wind and rain storm. The sidewalks had puddles and lots of wet leaves. I was sure the shoes would be wet clear through but they were not and my socks were dry. They are comfortable and the tread makes me feel sure footed. The color is nice and unobtrusive.

The fit - width and length - were great. However the tongue "folds" within the shoe and even after fussing with different positions over a few days, it simply hurt to walk in these. I have a high arch; perhaps part of the problem.

Fit was decent with a big enough toe box. Not enough arch support and stiffer than i need.

Way too tight in the toe box for my bunions and neuroma!

I bought these for a trip to Utah to hike. They were a little heavier and bulkier than I would have liked. I wore them around the house for a day and they just didn't work for me. I bought another brand at the same time, and they worked great.

These are sturdy hiking shoes, with good traction sole, but the left shoe is tight rubbing on top of my heel and a little tight in toe area. Right shoe is more true to size - strange. Color is okay a little drabber than expected but okay. Nice quality outer materials and sole. Trying indoors but may have to return. Zappos did good delivery time.

Nice shoe but heavy. The sole is seems to be a heavy rubber material. In addition, this shoe is too wide for my mid foot area and doesn't give me a snug fit. It's more oval shaped. I have wide toe and narrow heel.

Nice looking but too confining in the toe box, and definitely not “breathable.” Just not comfortable on my feet. Am returning.

I originally liked these shoes. From the picture they looked blue, like a denim blue, but they are very gray. What I didn't like was that they are definitely not waterproof. Even walking through grass with dew on it would make my toes wet. I do a lot of hiking through creeks and really needed waterproof shoes. I was very disappointed that these are not.

These felt and looked a bit clunky. The inside also felt kind of lumpy or bumpy, like there was support in all the wrong places... The sole was uncomfortably grippy on a wood floor and made very loud squeaks when I walked around. I have a wider foot so I selected a wide. The width felt true to size but overall the shoe felt a half size larger.

The length was perfect. I have wide feet, however, the Medium width felt too wide for my feet. I really wanted to keep these because they are a waterproof shoe, however, I felt that they were too wide. Also, I was concerned about a horizontal seam running across the inside portion halfway up the back of my heel/over my Achilles tendon. There seemed to also be a ridge under the seam. I was afraid that this would be spot where the shoe would rub after doing a lot of hiking. That is a poor design of the inside lining/seam of the shoe.

I ordered 5 pairs of hiking shoes in size 8. That was the right size in the other 4, but these were too small.

Shoe was too wide and the toe box was even wider. Returned.

The toe box of the shoe is really tight, but the heel is huge. If it was just too tight in the front I could break them in, but the shoes come off of my heels with every step because they are so loose in the back. Pretty though.

Stiff, not comfortable, too small.
